This beach is clean and well kept. A nice place to picnic and less then an hour from Whitehorse. It is on the way to Carcross trading post and a great stop of a quick picnic or a day spend. There is a a toilet and a few picnic benches.

Fun spot for pallet fires! Dogs like this place too. Carcross is the next Brooklyn, if Brooklyn had big lakes and mountains and mountain bike trails

this beach is great this time of year, the snow has not yet melted in the mountains and the water is low so you have miles of beach ---- too bad it is not +30 and no bar near by as this beach would be able to compete with any beach in mexico

Honestly, I live in Whitehorse and had no idea that we had such a wonderful beach so close to home. We went on a spectacular day and the water was even warm enough to dip in. The sand is nice and there is ice cream near by. Parking is very close. A great place to bring family and friends.

What an interesting place. The sandy beach and the surrounding area is worth the stop. We enjoyed our stroll through the Carcross desert. Not much for groceries, so bring your own and nothing opens early.

Stand on the beach and imagine thousands of Stampeders in their homemade boats heading off to the Gold fields in the Klondike. bring a scarf as it is almost always windy then wander through Carcross...good way to spend a day...everything is free except the ice cream from the General store

This is a very relaxing walk in the sand. There are birds singing and flowers blooming high on the shore. This a great photo opportunity for the camera buff

This is an odd picture for this spot. The mural is actually on a building in Whitehorse and has nothing to to with Bennett Beach!! However-the beach is kept clean and recently, there has been a nice deck with tables and toilets added. A lovely spot for a summer afternoon

Latrines ans small deck available, this sandy beach offer quietness on the shore of lake Bennett. Can be really windy at times, cause the wind comes from Skagway Alaska and pick-up speed on this very long lake.
