Great place for a visit with children. For the population base Saskatoon has they do a good job here. Decent selection of animals to view and always seem to be kept quite clean.

Saskatoon's zoo is a very relaxing place to visit. I especially like walking the grounds, particularly the small rose gardens and around the old superintendent's house, a leftover from when the zoo was a federal tree growing place. There's a small concession. Plenty of animals to look at. Note that there is only a fee for the zoo part, the... More

The Saskatoon Zoo was a nice afternoon destination with some lovely animals and nice surprises. The bison calf was adorable, as were the prairie dogs. Some of the animals would evidently benefit from a bit more elbow room, particularly the wolves who were lovely but seemed a bit cramped in their current situation. It looked like a new area was... Indoor frogs, stick and leaf insects were very interesting to look at. Some of the animals in their cages look like they do not have enough living space. Red Panda looked lonely, lazy and depressed. Only lively animals I saw were the wolves and birds that can roam around the zoo freely. Learned a lot from the descriptions posted on... More

Been here many times and it varies but it is pretty good. Depends on the weather, spring with the new babies is very good. Impressive large bison bull Good place to take little kids and the express train ride is fun for the kids as well. It offers a free guided tour of the Farm.

I loved the Forestry farm when I was little running from enclosure to enclosure, fishing in the pond, BBQ at the available stands, playing in the playgrounds with my cousins. It's not the best "zoo" ever but it is definitely great for parents with kids going out for the day. We would pack a lunch in the morning and go... More

The zoo is small, which was expected. The grounds were muddy, should have been expected since it is spring, but why is there not pavement? So many animals not on display. We visited the winnipeg zoo 10+ times last year and were hoping to be able to buy the zoo pass and have our kids enjoy the one here as... More

The zoo is small, however, May is a wonderful time to visit when the new born baby animals are out enjoying the warm spring with their mothers and other members of their species! This is a favourite outing for families on Mothers' Day. There is a free train-like ride for visitors to tour the zoo then continue to explore on... More

An amazing display of lights for the Christmas season, sponsored by many different companies. It would take a Grinch not to like this displauy
