I love River Landing for its scenic view and one can go for a very long walk along the river. There is seating everywhere along the river as well as an outdoor restaurant where one can have a quick homemade snack or ice cream. This is my most favourite place in Saskatoon. Unfortunately I have not had the opportunity to... More

Whenever I stay in Saskatoon I stay at a hotel down by the river. Everytime I am there I walk along a portion of this trail. It is beautiful, well maintained, has bathrooms and other services along the trail and nearby. There is usually some sort of interesting activity going on somewhere. There is a splash pool for the kids.... More

A wonderful trailed area beside the South Saskatchewan River in the city of Saskatoon. Meewasin means ``beautiful`` in the Cree language and this word fits the area wonderfully. On a bright sunny warm August Day I walked on trails overlooking the river. I also visited the Meewasin Centre with helpful stay to tell you of the area and other nearby... More

On a recent long weekend trip to Saskatoon we rented bikes at the Bike Doctor and rode the Meewasin Trail along the Saskatchewan River that runs through the city. This is quite an easy ride, mostly flat with a few small hills, on a paved path, part of which goes right along the riverbank. One side of the trail goes... More

If you have want to wander an extensive trail within a city this is one of the best to see. A great example of preserving a bit of nature within an urban area. The MVA trail is an way of exploring a mix of natural riverbank and urban park combined. You will have an opportunity to see both formal urban... More

I love that you can do so much in such lovely environment and to boot are able to walk everywhere. Thanks Saskatoon for a well tended, well thought out downtown development. Drawing not only the suburbia in but also out of towners. One can browse museums or art galleries, eat both street food or fine dining and you can do... More

Not knowing a lot about Saskatoon and it's history, I stopped by for a visit. Great staff, nice facility. It's a great way to spend the afternoon.

I was in Saskatoon for 5 days and brought my bike for this stay. I really enjoyed the trails and the tressel bridge. Lots of benches, but I was looking for a picnic table to sit at with my books to study. Could use a few more picnic tables on the ends of the trails.

A wonderful way to spend a few minutes or a couple of days relaxing and taking in the scenery, wildlife and ambiance of a hinterland within a city.
