Baba would approve

Baba would approve this museum. This is a great little place. There is a cute gift shop with music, Easter eggs, and books on how to make them.

Heavier on artifacts than anything else including history. Having said that, I did learn a fair amount about Ukrainain immigration to Canada. Friendly staff. More artsie craftsie than I personally care for as a history buff.

My husband and I visited the museum on a hot August day. Thankfully it was air conditioned. The staff at the front desk was pleasant and informative. We appreciated the information she gave us. The displays are a tribute to the truly remarkable artists.

I'm not keen on museums, but this did not seem like an old, stuffy museum. Rather it told a story of an immigrant race coming to Canada with literally nothing and making a go of it.The gift store is full of unique items and very well priced.

Who knew the Government of Saskatchewan sent delegates to the Ukraine in the early 1900's to recruit immigrants to homestead the provence. Learn the story of these immigrants and the unimaginably hard life they led once they arrived in Saskatchewan.

Hey TripAdvisor! Learn how to spell "Ukrainian"!! This is a great museum. As for the last review, it is a small place but to say there's nothing to see? Pah. It is JAMMED with art and cultural items. There is lots to see here. Staff is very knowledgable and helpful and willing to answer questions. Great little gift shop. Easily... More

Don't miss this little gem on the banks of the Saskatchewan River. Give yourself a couple of hours to see the permanent galleries as well as the changing displays. The friendly staff will guide you through the museum and help you with all your purchases in the one of a kind gift shop,

Very tiny and boring. A bit depressing that it's the 4th highest rated activity in saskatoon. Spend your time elsewhere!

Excellent displays and story of Ukrainian immigration to Canada. Most interesting video about the 8000 Ukrainian Canadians internment 1914 to 1920. Enjoyable art gallery. Gift shop had a large variety of items. Staff friendly and helpful. Some collections are permanent and others change. Museum is in a great location along the river.
