Excellent displays and story of Ukrainian immigration to Canada. Most interesting video about the 8000 Ukrainian Canadians internment 1914 to 1920. Enjoyable art gallery. Gift shop had a large variety of items. Staff friendly and helpful. Some collections are permanent and others change. Museum is in a great location along the river.

The museum and art gallery was a pleasant surprise. The displays were mostly on the early Ukrainian settlers to Canada. The art gallery was wonderful. The permanent collection of Kurelek (sp?) paintings and the rotating art gallery was worth viewing. The Museum is not very large, but well done. The Museum Gift Shop matches that of many large Museums. I... More

Only 3 small rooms in the museum, and kinda boring. Perhaps if you're a Ukrainian history buff it might be alright, otherwise you're better off going to the Western Development Museum.

Very small museum with both permanent and temporary exhibits. The staff are very informative and the displays have a good focus on the arts that relate to the Ukranian settlers in central Canada.

Enjoyed the feature exhibit. The gift shop may be small but it has a huge variety of choices. Am a member so go often to visit and see what is new.

Interesting museum that tells the history of the Ukrainian immigrants in Saskatchewan and other areas of Canada. Very helpful front-desk staff who help if you have questions.

The staff at the Ukrainian Museum are wonderful and very knowledgable. I spent time at the museum twice during my stay in Saskatoon and experienced three different staff members, all of whom were very knowledgable and helpful. The museum is a self-guided tour (no photographs allowed), very well-documented and interesting. One area of the museum is set to host various... More

We were there on a weekday with few people around. The result was a private seminar from the guide/hostess on Ukraianian history and the migration to Saskstchewan. The museum is small enough that you can see the whole thing in 1-2 hours even reading much of the history and descriptions. Worth the experience. After leaving we now understand much better... More

Here is an excellent view of Ukrainian immigration to Canada with a great oral-history movie explaining Ukrainian life. Heavy on magnificent embroidery and folk costumes, the museum displays all manner of cultural dress. It also has examples of Ukrainian banknotes from the early 1900s. Easy to miss. The museum is very close to the Park Town Hotel but hidden behind... More

I visited the permanent display explaining Ukrainian immigration and, also, excellent temporary displays of William Kurilek, artist, and also Ukrainian currency of the revolutionary period. I was almost the only visitor so I had time to discuss history and current issues with the knowledgable staff. Well worth a visit whether one is of Ukrainian background or not.
