We had a guided tour of the Legislative Building. The tour also included 3 Vignettes that presented by actors, acting out scenes from the early 1900's. In total the tour lasted just under 1 hour. The tour was very informative and hit on the hilights of the building. The vignettes were very well done. please note that the vignettes are... More

Why are they covering the dome? I guess I wasnt lucky enough as my first visit in Regina, I didnt see the full beauty of the legislative building. The dome was covered and theirs a crane beside it. The garden in front was beautiful though

Ever since we moved to Regina this building was the first place to take visitors. There are narrated tours,or self directed. Our forefsthers fid an excellent job in building this grand place..the rotunda is often used for civic etc celebrations.Lots of grand Native Art there. The gardens and fountain outside add to the visit.

Regina doesn't boast many architectural landmarks but the Legislative Building is a beautiful work of art located right in the heart of Wascana Park. The building is beautiful from the outside but as soon as you go in you are treated to beautiful marble and stone accents, pillars, and gorgeous works of art mixed with a historical account of Regina... Saskatchewan ' s history starts in 1870. Quickly the province grows with great leadership. Sir Walter Scott has a vibrant vision for the future when he designs the Legislative Buildings and lake. The grand marble halls echo with voices. The tours are every half hour. Regina is a city to be proud of.

Beautiful, historic building that is worth a visit, even though the dome is under scaffolding for an extensive renovation until 2017. The grounds around the building are also beautiful, and worth taking time to wander around. Parking is plentiful and free.

Nice scenery with the lake outside. Very nice historical building. Free tour with some interesting facts. Not too long of a tour either (about 25 minutes). Parking conveniently in front of the building, but reserved right in front. Watch for the dive bombing birds at the front door. Free and air conditioned!

The grounds are wonderful to explore. So family friendly... A place to spend a hot summers day. Tax dollars well spent!

Friendly tour guide, stunning building. We happened by late on a Saturday, but found a tour available at 5:00 p.m. and we joined in: it's a great place to visit, and the tour is thorough and compelling.

The legislative building in Regina is by far larger than the ones in Toronto, Edmonton, and Victoria. The structure is impressive. My favourite part is the open space on the legislative grounds. There's lots of space for visitors to relax, walk around, or play sports. I enjoyed my visit very much!
