Very impressive building and tour. Learned about the birth of healthcare and Tommie Douglas. I am so glad we went for the hour. Walked the grounds and the loop around the pond. Regina is so nice, the pace is slow and quiet.

I took that tour of the legislative building - it was great seeing the building and hearing about how it was built and being able to visit the library, the public gallery and the galleries. The building is beautiful and impeccably maintained. It was unfortunate that the guide wasn't able to give us the whole tour because several persons in... More

Other than parking, the "Ledge" is well worth the stop. The tour was excellent and the cuppola is spectacular. It's nice to see they are taking care of this very important building.

I spent this past weekend in Regina, known as the queen's city. The legislative building offers a free 1/2 tour where the government of Saskatchewan holds their sessions. The marble walls are awesome, the architecture is one of a kind, and it features a very huge library inside the building. The tour guide was very informative. If you're in the... More

The facade of the building is under construction, with doesn't make for good pictures. However, the gardens and park are beautiful.

You can take a free guided tour every half hour on most days. There was obviously no expense spared in the early 1900's. There is also an very good shop but you have to ask where it is (around the corner from main steps)

Last August I visited “Snowbirds” from Regina who come to Florida for the winter. They took me to what they called “The Ledge.” Driving past beautiful gardens and a lake in one of the largest urban parks in North America, I thought how strange in an area of flat plains there could be a rock ledge overlooking a valley, since... September 2013 was only our last of many visits to this building and its surrounding park. The guides for the guided tours are very committed to making sure visitors learn about the SK government, and prairie politics as history, and each time we have learned something new. At least for Canadians it is a thrill to touch the chair sat... More

Went there the other day and had a very informative tour guide. Went through and took lots of pictures of all the beautiful architecture that is in the legislative building.
