Wascana Park is a huge park built around a large man made lake built if front of the Saskatchewan Legislative buildings which are quite beautiful themselves. The walk around the entire lake is 3 or 4 miles on a walking path and there are beautiful trees, a large flower garden and dozens of Canada geese and ducks. The park is... More

We live close to the park so are able to walk daily around the Park. We often bike during the summer. Perfect distance for daily exercise.

Great for family outings, running, Sunday drives down the scenic winding roads, picnics, quiet spots for reading books. Lovely architecture. Just remember to follow the rules for feeding the geese!

Every summer the Dragon Boat races are held in Wascana Park, as well as numerous concerts and events. There are geese and ducks to see, and it is... More

Wascana Park is right in the middle of Regina if you are visiting. It borders downtown. Wascana Lake runs through it and is quite peaceful and beautiful as no motorized boats are allowed. The Legislative buildings are nearby as is the Science Centre. The west side is manicured with lots of grass and flowers. The East side (east of Broad... More

I walk through this park 5 days a week, twelve months of the year. Words can't describe this wonderful people oriented park. Regina citizens are so fortunate to be able to access this beautiful area.
