The complex offers a museum, movie, base tour, and seargant major's inspection and parade. Register for all items at front desk of museum. Museum does a good job of explaining history and has a good selection of artifacts. Sargent Majors parade not that impressive if you have seen a top notch military parade before. Base tour is interesting. Guides are... More

The tour explains everything nice and simple. Inside the museum you can even dress as a mounted police, a movie teaches you what they do an how; its entretaining and teaches you. A representation is also available and shows a little bit of history; it's not the best i've seen but it's fun to watch and learn

We spent many wonderful, educational hours here. We saw the 12:45 pm Sergeant Major’s Parade which was indoors due to windy, wet weather. We took the over 1/2 hour shuttle ride around The Depot base and into the chapel. We saw the excellent movie of the training the RCMP endure, and we spent a lot of time looking at the... More

Being an American, my impression of the RCMP was favorable, but my knowledge was mostly limited to old television shows (Sergeant Preston of the Yukon, Rocky, Bullwinkle, and Dudley Do-Right), and early movies. The Heritage Centre did a great job of covering the history of the RCMP, and the current responsibilities of force. There is also a movie that explains... More

Great way to learn about the history of the RCMP. It is a point of pride as a Canadian and we are honoured to have the training centre and heritage centre in Regina. The museum is interactive and informative. Sunset ceremony is also excellent.

I suspect if we hadn't been staying with relatives in we would not have known about this Centre. A superb insight into the rigorous training that recruits undertake prior to becoming a Mountie. Quite a few following in their fathers and grandfathers footsteps and a few unfortunately just not making it! The museum was not too big to become tedious... More

This museum is interesting and enjoyable, and has lots of information on the history of the RCMP. However, it lacks interactive and innovative features and does not compare favorably to other cutting-edge museums in Canada (Montreal's Pointe a Calliere for example). All in all, a standard, smallish, a little outdated. Saved by the interesting subject matter. SKIP THE PARADE: they... More

Disclosure: I have been a RCMP fan for decades. More than a fan. How about a co-operative citizen, a supporter, and a believer-in-them-no-matter-how-bad-some-members-are. Today, I enjoyed a return visit to the museum, the first since they opened their new digs. My exit comment: ''This fabulous building is a highly suitable tribute to the members of the Force, both living and... More
