It's easy to forget that the RCMP has been around, well, forever, and has some really interesting history. The Heritage Centre does a great job of presenting this history including stories and artifacts. Well worth a visit for an hour or two. Current or ex Military/RCMP are free!

I came in to the museum knowing absolutely nothing about the RCMP and left feeling quite knowledgeable. The museum staff was attentive and helpful. Be sure to check out the tour of the training facilities and watch the Courage in Red film!

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of your visit to the RCMP Heritage Centre. I am so glad that you had the opportunity to take a tour of the Depot grounds and see the movie Courage in Red. The movie really shows what the Cadets go through to become a member of the RCMP. Thank you More

These is no shortage of places to eat in Regina. This place is OK if your real hungry and only want a snack. There are a couple place a block or so west on the other side of the street that would be much better for a meal. Or go go north to Normanview Crossing for even better fair.

Thank you for your review, but I believe that your review is for a restaurant as the RCMP Heritage Centre does not have food services, other then vending machines. More

If you've ever wanted to see and feel the history of the RCMP this is the place to start from. Located next door to the RCMP Depot Division, the training site for all RCMP members in Canada, you'll find all the answers to questions about their history and current duties. There's displays, video presentations, interactive exhibits, and even guided tours... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to write a review about your visit to the RCMP Heritage Centre. This summer we were able to provide Driving Tours through Depot Division, allowing visitors to see the training academy, where RCMP members have trained since 1885. We wil definately be offers these tours again during the summer season next year.... More

The museum is interesting but is not a world class museum that the Royal Canadian Mounted Police should have! Does give you an idea of challenges and struggles in the old days

The new facility (at least to me) is well worth a visit - the short video to start is quite emotional and helps set the stage for the entire visit. There are interactive displays and lots of history - especially interesting was the crime scene display. The tribute to missing aboriginal women was also very well done.

Wonderful facility where you can learn all about the history of this great group of men and women. You also learn about the making of this great country as well.

The Heritage Centre has 6 galleries showing the history of the RCMP from its founding, through the March West, to its Northern role and now its international scope. The galleries and the films in the main theatre are a great reminder as to how big a country this is and how many different challenges a Mountie has to be ready... More

Our family enjoyed looking around this museum, where we spent around an hour. Admission is free. The largest single item is a carriage used by Queen Elizabeth II and her husband, although there are a number of smaller items in display cases. The displays cover the history of the mounted police and the scope of their work in fighting crime,... More

Thank you for your review. After reading your review I believe that you have mistakenly written a review for the Musical Ride Centre in Ottawa. The RCMP Heritage Centre does not have as part of our collection the Carriage used by Queen Elizabth II nor do we have any horses. Thank you More
