If your in Regina and have any interest in the history of policing in Canada this is a great stop. The Centre shows you how policing developed from the start of western Canada. It also has a good gift shop. This stop is very convenient if your going to tour the RCMP Training Academy.

“Mounties” is the abbreviated common name for member of the prestigious Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Each candidate must train at this impressive complex in Regina, Saskatchewan. There are three main divisions: the Heritage Centre (museum), Academy (Depo Division), and residences, off limits to visitors. The RCMP Heritage Centre is at the training facility (Depo) and helps guests learn about RCMP,... More

Cost was minimal and got to see a short movie about the various units in the RCMP. Then you can take your time and look and read the historic displays from various time periods in the RCMP. They also have interactive displays which are great for the all. Overall a great experience.

The Heritage Centre is an excellent spot to see the various stages of growth of the RCMP. The museum part is excellent with many items that have been maintained through the ages. The hospitality center that is attached is excellent for almost any type of function. Everyone should visit this piece of Canadiana.

The museum showcases so much of our Canadian heritage. A beautiful facility with spacious, interactive, informative exhibits showcasing the beginnings to present day of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. Something for all ages! Interesting for kids to play their way through the stations, watching, learning, trying their hand at investigation techniques, and dressing up in Mountie costumes along the way.... More

Mounties...everyone knows that image. The mounties, more properly known as the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, all go through training in Regina, Saskatchewan. At the training facility is the RCMP Heritage Centre, which gives guests the opportunity to learn all about the RCMP from its beginnings to its present day incarnation. Exhibits vary from how the RCMPs monitor the northern boundaries... More

I have been here several times, both as school tour chaperones and also as individual. It is lots of fun both ways, but the prebooked school toure give you extra activities as well as discounted admissions. We arranged to eat our packed lunches in the eating area they have inside the visitor building. The exhibits in the museum are interesting,... More

A newer attraction for Regina. Building is well planned. You go through many displays. Becoming an RCMP,investigations, history, etc. You can work through a real case, get clues, and solve the murder mystery. Work on a DNA case. Follow RCMP through historic cases. The mad trapper as an example. If you have the time it is well worth the stop.... More
