My husband, I and two teenage daughters just experienced the Al Capone tunnels. Wow! What a great experience. The tour begins in an interesting location and carries through, ending in another surprising locale. Our Miss Fanny and Gus were well-rehearsed and we were treated with some excellent historical information and also llearned how to be true bootleggers. The actors included... more

Someone told me the Al Capone tour was cheesy but we thought it would be interesting. I would have appreciated more real facts interspersed with all the acting that went on. They did a good job but the whole Capone/bootlegging thing is interesting enough on its own I think that it could be a little less kitschy. Glad we did... more

We went on both tours: the Al Capone one and the Chinese immigration one. Both were very good and offered an interesting history of the settlement of the west. Note that the tours actually start about 5 to 10 minutes before the official start time as neither starts in the ticket building and you have to walk about a block... more

My wife, parents and I went to the tunnels not really knowing what to expect. We opted to do both tours which we're glad we did. Firstly we did the "passage of fortune" where we had Mrs Dawson barking commands at us "coolies" that's what they called the chinese workers and Mr Burrow's stating how we owed him for our... more

We've been on several underground tours in different cities but this was terrible. Five minutes after it began we wanted it to stop. The actors did a good job and even the story was somewhat interesting. It was the script writing that was really awful. There is a cool story here but it's just told very badly. The animatronic people... more

After hearing so much of the tunnels we thought we would check them out. We only had time to do one so we did the one about Al Capone and the bootleggers. I wish we had taken the other tour as I have heard good things about the Passage of Fourtune! This one was a bit of a dissapointment and... more

We took the Chicago version of the tour. My son was a little worried by the warning sign that suggested it would be scary - and I asked what it entailed, and they mentioned gunshots, doors slamming, people trying to scare you but in retrospect it was very tame and not something to worry much about. So long as you... more

What a great sidetrip during our cross prairie drive! After hearing much about this attraction I was excited to see it, but unsure of what to expect. We were very pleasantly surprised. The Passage to Fortune tour (about Chinese immigrants) is a very emotional and sad journey through Canada's past. It is eye opening and a good reminder/lesson to us... more

My wife and I did both tunnels tours and although both were done well we liked the Passage to Fortune tour the best. There was more history involved in that tour and seemed more realistic. The young lady who did our tour was excellent. We thought the price of $44 for the two of us for both tours was very... more

I had no idea that Moose Jaw was such a tourist destination. Staying with relatives in Regina, we did the 1 hr drive down the highway to visit the Tunnels and the Western Diversification Museum (which has a dumb title but was actually really neat!). The Moose Jaw tunnels are a bit cheesy, but really fun and worth the trip.... more
