The tour guide had us hanging off his every word as we were struck by the living and working conditions of some Chinese people who were treated more like slaves than employees. Each corner we walked and with each new entrance that was opened in the tour opened our eyes to a world that we hope no longer exists or... More

This shouldn't be such a hidden gem, but then Moose Jaw is not exactly on the beaten path. We visited this attraction as we were passing through Moose Jaw on a fantastic sunny day. It's a great activity for any day. Without giving everything away, this really is a first-hand experience of what it would have been like as an... More

I`m not really much of a museum fan but really enjoyed this. We did both tunnels covering Al Capone`s retreat to escape the `heat` of Chicago and the history of Chinese immigration to Canada. The format of actors playing a part in telling the story and involving the visitors in the action was very entertaining and Al`s `Moll`, sidekick and the... The tunnels of Moose Jaw provided us with some realistic information on how the Chinese were treated and how they lived during their early times in Canada. It was fascinating to see how they lived, worked and had little or no time to them selves. The tour guide was very informative and role played the part very well. On the... More

Spent the afternoon going both tours with a group of 10, including 5 pre-teens and one teen. The tour guides were first rate, and really kept the kids involved.

The Tunnels of Moose Jaw provide fun on the Al Capone tour, and sadness and shame on the Chinese immigrant tour. The animators are excellent and really make the stories come alive. It was fun to imagine Al Capone being in Moose Jaw during Prohibition. The story of the Chunese immigrants was very sad to listen to, and every Canadian... More

The Al Capone Tunnel tour was extremely fascinating as well as informative in relation to some of the history of the town during the roaring 20's. The tour guides were in period costume, had a good knowledge of the events in the 20's, as well were great little actors in portraying the criminal characters of the bygone days of prohibition.... The "Passage to Fortune" tour was fairly informative, I'd give that tour 4 stars. Good information on what life was like for Chinese immigrants, and explanations were included on how the tunnels were actually used. The "Chicago Connection" tour was entertaining, but I'd give it only two stars in terms of informative value. The tour guides keep it interesting, and... More
