Nice to see works by local artists

I like the emphasis they put on local artists. The museum is not dry big so the works on display are somewhat limited. They have some nice items for sale. Parking is limited.

currently a show of early Andy Warhol magazine ads, book covers, record jackets, etc. some look kind of "high school", but those early products grow into his use of everyday items, and the colors he eventually used well. neat show includes sculptor Roland Poulin... interesting use of straight line metal. well worth an hour or two. very helpful docents, happy... It is very pleasant to walk around and into this little museum. We recently enjoyed the Andy Wahol exhibition, and admiring flowers, gorge and murals close by!

Our guide, René, was such a wonderful man. We were visiting as a school group and we thrilled by the experience. Unfortunately René met with a tragic accident only a week after our visit and passed away. He will be sorely missed. His passion and love of art will be remembered always.

This is a small museum but very complete for a small city museum. Local artists do most of the displays, some avante-gard, some projection art, and experimental [use of props]...on the 3rd floor more traditional art but no artist of renown. It was interesting, and if you are in town and have time, it is worth the 1 hour it... More

I think that it is nice that Sherbrooke has its own Museum of Fine Arts but don't expect to have as many rooms and art pieces to admire as you would find in any other city. The place is structurally beautiful (it used to be a bank) and it is not an expensive visit so, on a gloomy afternoon when... More

Just walking around town I came across this place. A good dirstraction during a tough training trip at head office. Was not expecting to find a place like this in Sherbrooke! The selection of exhibited artwork was quite diverse - not too keep on the modern normally, but it may grow on me.... Accessible and was impressed to hear they... More
