I have travelled extensively for the last 30 years all around the world and rate this experience very much in the highest tier. I did the full trip up to La Malbie which included the four course dinner on the return trip. Whilst it is very expensive the quality of the experience is sublime. We had superb weather the whole... Booked the 3 hour ride with supper and do not regret it. This was our first time trying this type of experience and just loved everything about it. Everything was on time, getting on the train is easy and your table is assigned as you get on. We were seated with 2 other persons that we got to know on... More

My wife and I took the all-day " Daytrippers' Delight" excursion on August 14th. It was a long day, but full of pleasant surprises at every turn. The station at Montmorency where we boarded is very modern and is shared by the cable cars up to the Falls. We liked the car interior, with table seating, each with an IPad... More

Our friends' husband was turning 60 and my wife 65, so our friend's wife suggested surprising them with a train ride which include a 4 course meal. No words to describe it. The only sore point was upon our return to the station around 9 p.m. the station and access to rest rooms was closed. Otherwise, you just have to... More

We enjoyed this trip. My only negative is we caught the bus to the falls and there was not time upon arriving or when leaving to actual go up to the Montmorency Falls which I would have liked. Breakfast and lunch are provided and were very good but small portions. Alcohol is included. The town is cute but small. Nice... More

As astounding is the scenery As much as I savoured as the local menu; What impressed me equally was the service and the wonderful personalities of those who provided service on the train These people displayed at every opportunity not only they're professionalism but a desire to exceed every expectation of this experience They "cared" and that's the one thing... My family likes to eat (fine dine) its way through a vacation and what a treat this was. We started off at the beautiful waterfall, saw great views along the way. (Interestingly, the sights on the way going look dramatically different on the way back because of the tides.) Stopping at a beautiful little town to view the art studios,... More

My hubby loves train journeys so we were on to a winner. But from the time we started the journey until the time we left we were waited on and looked after breakfast in the morning and fed on way home with numerous drinks including 4 baileys (obviously we were held down and force fed them) the staff couldn't do... Having spent a few month in Charlevoix in my youth, I love returning to the area in summer and winter. My wife and I were early patrons of the day trip from Quebec City to Baie St Paul just around the time that the new hotel 'Le Ferme' was opening. The gourmet day-trip by train is wonderful. You will experience... More

Bonjour, Thanks for taking the time to share this experience with us! We take your ideas in note; they are all very interesting for the development of our Train. Actually, when the Train is working, we have a shuttle that leaves from most hotels in Québec city and then goes to the Chute-Montmorency train station. Best regards. More

What a delightful way to learn about Quebec and North American history - all whilst dining 5 star! We felt as though we were on a family tour as the hosts and wait staff were so engaging, determined that we have a wonderful time. The train actually goes along the shore far away from any road which gives you a... More

It is so wonderful to hear you mention the excellence of the Train’s on-board service! Indeed, a rail cruise escapade is the only way to admire such remote riverside vistas. And rest assured your comments will be taken into consideration; we intend to make your next rail cruise even more enjoyable. Thank you ‒ we look forward to seeing you... More
