There is no point in being harsh about a free experience and the idea of having a sound and light show visible from many places is a great one. However, I side with those who raise their eyebrows over this attraction. We watched from the upper walls of Old Town - great views, great sound. We arrived really early, thinking... More

We found a good spot to watch the show but had to wait for over an hour for it to start. After 10 minutes we left despite our long wait - it was a huge disappointment. It was not funny, entertaining or educational. Don't waste your time with this one.

I knew before going that it was a tribute to a film maker - but even knowing that it was hard to follow in places. Price is right (free) and it is put on after the Cirque show, so you can catch both. It is in the evening, so most museums are closed. I'd go back for a different show.

Other reviewers have implied that the content is confusing or strange. This might be the case if you do not watch from the beginning. This presentation is a tribute to Norman McLaren, an animation pioneer, and cleverly interprets and presents excerpts from his work. I was not previously familiar with him, but found the show entertaining, whimsical, and well adapted... More

After about 5 minutes of strange somewhat confusing images we decided to go get crepes...good thing we didn't pay the 5 bucks for better seats...

We spent a few days visiting many museums and exhibits before seeing the multi-media show. Technically it's fantastic. The subject matter is quiet meaningful if you understand the local history. I loved the sights and sounds. I hope to have another opportunity to see it again so I can catch some of the things I missed. A must for those... More

As you've seen from previous reviews, this is a multi-media presentation set to some sound effects and music that is projected (3D is NOT a correct description) on 302 tightly packed white grain silos on the Quebec waterfront. It is particularly interesting if you've een the silos during the day -- as it is just a worn-looking industrial facility that... More

My husband and I had planned on going down to the waterfront to see this, but after a long day of driving, we just wanted to stay in our room. We were staying in a gorgeous river view room on the 21st floor of the Hilton. The concierge (Stephan) suggested that if we were tired but wanted to see it... More

We were really looking forward to this, and while I appreciate the talent behind putting this together and displaying it we were bored silly pretty quickly. Wish we'd chosen the circ de soleil instead.

What a wonderful multi-image show this is. We had never seen anything like it. Arrive 20 minutes before showtime to get a good seat--earlier during weekends. Lasts about 45 minutes. Don't miss it--kids will love it, too.
