“The Louvres at the National Museum of Fine Arts”

I have been the the Louvres and I can tell you that they have not send their best pieces for this exposition. When your starting your visit, the museum will pass you a small book so you can read about every pieces of this exposition. Good lock after that because it is not easy to follow the numbers inside each... more

July 2005 - went to this museum which I had previously visited & loved. There is still a superlative Inuit gallery run by the Brousseau family, but the museum no longer exists. The collection has been bought by a museum in Quebec and will be given a permanent home, although it is not operational yet. Sorry I don't have more... more

I can strongly recommend the Musee d'art Inuit Brousseau. I visited in January 2002 and enjoyed a temporary collection of art by Inuit women, including some sophisticated drawings and sculptures that provoked my imagination and deepened my curiosity and interest in Inuit art. The cost is $6 Canadian and is well worth it. more
