Oh dear....you can pay for a bottle of miracle water or buy an empty bottle and fill it from the tap, but even the Catholics amongst us were a bit queezy about the whole shenanigans. After buying the bottle, you can look at all the canes etc in the church...apparently thrown away after the miracles occurred. (None during our visit,... more

It is somewhat difficult for an atheist like me to write a review of something like this without violating TridAdvisor's TOS terms. But if you are devout on the one hand or can get over people praying for miracle cures on the other , the place is impressive. The basilica is the size of a large cathedral and is done... more

This wonderful church sits about 15-20 minutes outside the village of Quebec City -old Quebec area. We went on a tour and were disappointed because we just didn't have enough time there. The "Country Tour" left only 40 minutes to see it - not enough. The church has been built/rebuilt 5 times and so it does not have the feel... more

Great place to spend a relaxing and spiritual time. The basilica is certainly a great place to spend time to reflect and pray. The surrounding area is majestic with mountains and Quaint villages. A whale watching tour down river to Tadousac is catchable at the dock. Fantastic part of Canada. more
