We were only able to spend a small amount of time in Quebec City, so we decided to visit the fortifications. Came across it by accident, and enjoyed the tour & changing of the Guard at 10 am (there's an evening ceremony too). Bearskin hats and all! Great views, and great history, even for one not too interested in military history. Can see only by tour, it;s an active station for the only French-speaking Canadian regiment.
