For starters, it is only a ferry - a commuter service during the weekday and a popular tourist outing on weekends. Therefore, I can't rate it more than average since it didn't offer anything special. That said, it is only $7 RT across (although you can only buy tickets on a one-way basis, so when you arrive in Levis, you... More

My friend and I took the ferry to Levis to take photographs of the old central district of Levis. There are two ways to get to Levis. You can cross the St Lawrence by Ferry at the Old Port, or you can travel about five miles out of your way down the River Road to one of two bridges that... More

The Quebec-Levis ferry is a nice enough ferry trip. On the way and from the Levis side you do get some nice views of Old Quebec, and getting out on the water albeit briefly is pleasant on a summer day. But the ride itself is quite brief and there is nothing ... almost literally nothing ... to do on the... More

We stayed with our RV and two large dogs at a campground in Lévis. The campground had a shuttle taking people to Old Quebec but dogs were not allowed. We took the ferry, which runs every 30 minutes and costs $7 round trip per person (the dogs were free). We payed $16 for parking our oversized vehicle at the port... More

We love boats, so that when I read there was a ferry that could allow for a nice water view coming back from Levis to the QC waterfront I talked the hubby in to taking this VERY SHORT round trip ferry ride. You must disembark and pay a return voyage (not great for the infirm). At $13 or so for... More

We spent two nights at the Quebec Hilton and then took the ferry across the river on a drive to Saint John, NB. My Garmin had no problem finding the ferry, it was an easy check-in process and they were very efficient at getting cars on and off the ferry. We wandered around on deck while crossing the river and... More

One of the best deals in Canada, pay one fee as a walk on and take the trip across without debarking. The views are incredible and you can get the best pictures of Canada's most beautiful city!

We stayed in Levis close to the ferry. It was convenient to visit the city. We took the car in it to visit Montmorency falls. That was a first time experience for us. Levis is a nice town.
