The ferry is a fun little excursion, especially if combined with climbing up the 100+ stairs on the other side followed by a visit to "Les Chocolats Favoris". If you have time, visit the Desjardins house as well, and you have had a most wonderful and memorable afternoon. The ferry has a new terminal on the Levi side which is... More

Very convenient for us as we stayed at an RV park across the river on the other side of Old Quebec City. The RV park offered a free shuttle to and from the ferry. It meant staying the whole day but that wasn't hard to do.

Nice way to see the skyline of Quebec. The crossing takes about 8 minutes each way and a round trip ticket was about $6.50 CDN. It wasn't crowded at all in mid afternoon when we made the trip AND the is a nice brew pub a few steps from the Levis terminal, if you want to have some refreshemnt before... More

We took the Levis Ferry on a round trip just to get a view of Quebec City from the Saint Lawrence River. It was worth the hour we spent - beautiful!

The ferry was a fun idea suggested by our tour guide. The views up and down the river were great, but the view of the Chateau Frontenac and perspective of the city from the river was exceptional. Not too much money for a different view and another photo opportunity.

Inexpensive short trip across the river to Old Quebec. $6.00 a day parking on the Levis side. Enjoyed the view and the ride.

Ferry ride from Levi very convenient. Get a beautiful view of the city. Parking is limited so best to get there before noon. Parking is not set up for a car and camper and had to unhitch camper and put in a parking spot in its own - also paid for the extra parking spot ($6) each - ticket said... More

Having stayed in Levis two years ago… We only wanted to zip into Old Quebec for a few hours. The ferry is so easy and hasslefree. Newly renovated ferry terminal (you can even take your car across if you wish). Quickest way to get there ...$6 for parking. Best way to see the skyline and Château Frontenac.

It costs very little, leaves about every 20-30 minutes, it doesn't take much more than one hour back and forth, and you get the most impressive classic view of Quebec City. We love it. Place Royale is seen on the St-Lawrence shore and the Chateau Frontenac on the hill. I strongly recommend doing this in the morning for better sun... More
