We stayed five nights in an apartment in Levis (great place and very reasonable) and caught the ferry to Quebec City for day visits. Departs precisely from both locations on the hour and half hour and is a fun trip for about $3 each way. Very clean ships!

A cheap way to see the cityscape from the river and especially Chateau Frontenac - do it, it's great for photos!

If you’re looking for a fun and inexpensive activity in Quebec City, the Quebec-Lévis Ferry might be exactly what you’re looking for. The Quebec-Levis ferry is located in a convenient spot in Old Port along the St. Lawrence River. For $3.35 each way (a lower price for seniors and children), you can ride the ferry to see beautiful views of... More

Went for a trip to quebec city, I left my kids stroller in the deck below while I was enjoying the view from upstairs. When we got to port one of the female crew downstairs informed me that as the boat had docked a few minutes ago. The stroller was of the boat and was with the ticket counter in... More

We took the ferry to escape the tourists in Quebec City - it is a short and comfortable trip, giving an excellent view of the city. The other bank offered peace and tranquillity until we found ourselves in the middle of a jazz festival - not over-crowded - serendipity!

For $3.25 each way it was a nice break from walking (especially in 30 degree weather) and a cool breeze...great way to visit Old Quebec if you book a hotel on the south shore in Levis.

This ferry is cheap (good price for children and seniors). A short trip to Levis/return allows families to have lovely pictures of Chateau Frontenac, Cap Diamant and lower old town.

Unless you have business in Levis, the only attraction is the chance to take a great picture/video of Quebec City. This can take a while, as they run every half hour, and if you just go for the photo opportunity, you have to disembark the other side and go through the boarding process again. On the plus side, it's not... More

This very affordable ferry ride was a very nice introduction to Quebec City. A great photo opportunity! A little hard to find from the Levis side. Easy on and off.

It's all ok. Did a drink and snacks on the Levis side. The trip goes quick and isn't that expensive.
