The ferry cost about 10 dollars plus tax to ride. The boat is clean and gives a nice view of the city of Quebec. Unless you have business, live or go to school on the other side, we saw absolutely nothing. So, we did not get off the boat and just rode it back.

Leaving every half-hour from Québec City, the ferry to Levis is a very economical way to see both cities from the St. Lawrence River, especially on a sunny day with cruise ships berthed nearby.

Taking a trip on the ferry to Levis is an inexpensive way to get a fabulous view of old Quebec. There is not much within walking distance on the other side but there are a couple of nice cafes by the dock.

Convenient way to exit Old Quebec on our way home. Great views as you are crossing. Very tidy and efficient little ferry.

I had read that the ferry gives you a great view of Quebec City. This is true. There is really nothing in Levis that interested us, so we just rode the ferry back across. We rode it during the day, but I would think you could get some even more amazing photos at night!

We rode our bikes on a bike tour over to the ferry and got off in Levi. The ferry boat is quite large, it carries cars as well. Vending machines and bathrooms inside.

What a view both day and night ferry ride from Levis to Old Quebec. To view the Hotel Frontenac standing majestically atop the hill, cruise ships docked on the Quebec port is outstanding. Makes me want to do the cruise trip to QC. The ferry ride was inexpensive ($3) and just delightful.

What a great find. We had some time to kill until we could get into our hotel room and having walked the old town decided to hop on the ferry to Levis. Wonderful views of Quebec and what a delightful area with some charming buldings

We parked our car for $5 at the Levis ferry lot, walked onboard with our $7 round-trip tickets in hand, and enjoyed the views, clicking away with our cameras as we crossed the river to Quebec City. The ferry lands right at "Old Quebec City". Who could ask for more? So easy and accommodating!

Loved it. Saves a lot of time. Very convenient and not expensive. Affords the best views of the Chateau Frontenac and old Quebec. Ferry runs year round and gives you an up close view of the ice in winter. Loved it. Saves a lot of time. Very convenient and not expensive.
