The view of the old city of Qubec at night was beautiful. I do not think it saved any time over driving around. Was working in Levis and the folks there said I would save time getting back to the lower city vs driving. It was nice to just relax and let the captain navigate but it was not a... More

Take a 15 minute ferry ride over to Levis and 15 minutes back to Quebec - awe inspiring views of the City and Chateau Frontenac.

The ferry ride is very short. We were on it for a school trip so I'm not sure if you need to pay on both sides. I do know that you need to get off on Levis so I suspect you pay twice. Take the ferry at dusk. The lights are incredible. This is a must do when you visit... More

Took it at winter time for a back & forth. That was a sunny day and it was amazingly cold. We took the best pictures with a blue sky. Add a layer as on the river and sometimes windy. Count 2 hours back & forth.

A trip on the ferry itself is stimulating and a great photo op. We enjoyed walking around the river rimmed perimeter of Levis and having a wonderful dinner on rue Begin @ Restaurant L'Intimiste. Recommended!

Take a short round-trip, and enjoy the views of Quebec, better understand its port fortification history, as well as the importance of the St. Lawrence river. We even had the pleasure of a wintery crossing and went down to car deck to see ferry breaking though ice!

During the sunset you get a great view of the city and the floating ice makes for a unique experience. Going to the top of the ferry gives you the best views, be careful of ice on the floor.

Its a nice way to get a few great shots of Old Quebec from the water. Other than that, if you wanted to explore Levis, its easier to drive your vehicle over, park and explore.

very cool to go across and watch the ferry break up the ice. Saw a few boats portaging. Amazing to see these guys running across the ice and then jumping back into their boats. A tip. At the other end you have to take either a bus or a taxi. It is a huge hill you cant walk up it.... More
