Rain or shine one should check out this lovely park. Just off of the Plains of Abraham nestled close to beautiful old Victorian houses, this sunken part is breathe taking.

The monument is located in a lovely park area between the main street and the historic battlegrounds. A large area surrounded with flowers and shaded seating to enjoy the fresh air of the day. Great to visit after a tour of the Fine Arts Museum on the way back to the Upper Town Square.

Our guide said that 'Joan' was the gift of a mysterious New York City couple. Nice to realize that patriotism (supporting QC's struggles against the British) permeated the 'lower colonies'.

This park is right off the Plains of Abraham nestled within a neighbourhood. It is a very well maintained garden with plenty of park benches around the perimeter and shade from the sun. It's a place we always make sure to visit when we are in town. If you are a garden lover, I highly recommend this subtle, understated and... More

A quiet well maintained garden near a busy landmark park. The city keeps the plants tidy and in good condition, which was obvious as some had recently been trimmed. The July gardens had a mixture of exotic tropical plants, and perennials. Likely the tropical storm had been over wintered then transferred to the garden, providing a charming mix of colours,... The statue is centered in a lovely garden with a circular path that rings it. There are benches so you don’t have to feel that you must hurry away. It is just a nice place to visit.

The park was beautiful - a wonderful homage to Joan of Arc. The statue is magnificent in the center of the park, bringing attention to the subject of the park.

The equestrian statue of Joan of Arc is in the center of a garden in the large Pains of Abraham Park. There are a number of old elm trees near the garden that have not been destroyed by the Dutch elm disease.

Only saw this out of the bus window. Would have gone back to take a closer look but the heavens had opened.e

Although the statue has nothing to do with Quebec City (as it was explained to me), it is still great to see and experience.
