A very beautiful Basilica

This Basilica is in perfect condition, very clean and beautifully preserved and in typical colors of the churches of the region

This church is the mainstay of Quebec City. . . and is just so beautiful in its religious appointments and Masses. Loved it! We went through the Papal Doors which was truly a one-in-a- lifetime blessing!

breathtaking views inside and a nice little gift shop that has reasonable prices for items. Take the time to stop inside this gem.

A little underwhelming from the outside, but such a beautiful and serene place inside. Being there helps you understand the history and traditions of the neighborhood so much more clearly.

This is beautiful cathedral to visit on any given day, but to attend Easter Mass was just amazing. The surroundings just take you to a peaceful place to reflect and experience the depth of one's faith.

What a beautiful church. The detail and spectacular ancient feel to it was amazing and calming. The altar area was so gorgeous and we spent a lot of time taking in the various detail. The need to kneel in one of the pews and say a prayer was quite strong. Great history here!

You wouldn't realize how beautiful and ornate the Basilique was inside, by looking at it's exterior. Go in and read about the first Bishop of Quebec (Francois de Laval), he's buried beneath the Basilique in the crypt. The oldest Catholic parrish in North America dating back to 1647.

From the outside the Notre Dame cathedral is a bit unassuming and rather plain. On the inside it is a bit of a shock. In addition to being a place of worship that is actively used, the cathedral is stunningly beautiful on the inside. If you are simply passing by on a walk around the old city, make sure to... More
