Set in the Place Royale the Basilique's relatively plain exterior does not prepare you for the beautiful decoration that greets you on entering. On the day we visited, the square was busy with tours and student groups but there is a calmness and sense of peace within. This building may not have the grandeur of some of the big city... More

The cathedral is gorgeous. I went to a mass Sunday morning to hear to men's chorus sing Gregorian chants. Very impressive.

We thought it was more beautiful than the one in Paris. They have a light show too.You have to check the times , $10 was the cost and you will enjoy the show.

Little bit secluded ,not of such exterior significance, but when You step inside, You become instantly stunned. It is a main church of Canada and Roman Catholic Archdiocese... More

Cathedral is not especially imposing from the outside, but the inside is gorgeous and ornate. Interesting educational exhibits about Father Francois de Laval, the first Bishop of Quebec in the 1600s, whose tomb is in the church.

This Basilica is in perfect condition, very clean and beautifully preserved and in typical colors of the churches of the region

This church is the mainstay of Quebec City. . . and is just so beautiful in its religious appointments and Masses. Loved it! We went through the Papal Doors which was truly a one-in-a- lifetime blessing!
