This one cathedral takes your breath away. You feel you are in the great cathedrals of Europe when you walk in. The history of this magnificent work of art is also most interesting, please take the time to tour.

This place is gorgeous, the detail of the architecture is amazing. This is a must, best church I have ever seen. Part of Mary's forearm is on display. We spent 45 minutes and got to ask questions from the kind gentleman that was there.

In 1664 it became the first parish church in North America. The present day church began construction in 1923. So this year is the 350Th anniversary and it is celebrated with "la sainte porte" or the sacred door which is a gift from the Vatican. You can only enter through this door and at the end of 2014 it will... More

We understood the concept, but were confused by the process. Nevertheless, the church... More

The architecture of this church is breath-taking. Beautiful artwork through-out. It's open for the public and there was a very kind gentleman inside to answer all of our questions.

We arrived there and they were closing in ten minutes so we just could take a couple of pictures and then leave. It is a good place to visit if you are walking around the Old Québec

Right now while they are celebrating the 350th anniversary of the church, there is a sacred door from the Vatican on the side that you can only enter through (not exit). There are I believe only 7 of those doors around the world and none on this side of the Atlantic. The door will be sealed after this year. One... More
