If you look for a romantic outing,a special occasion, then the investment in AML:'s RED CARPET MENU may just be what you have been searching for! Leaving from Old Montreal's harbour,to Easternmost Varennes, you are treated to a marvelous boat-tour on St.Lawrence, where you'll see the sunset, and much, much more(but be there at least half an hour before departure,so YOU(and the special one of... Unfortunately, when you opt not to dine on the ship the 4 hour trip is very long. Other than seeing the spectacular Chateau Frontenac lit up at night, the vessel was very outdated, bathrooms were stinky, and no excitement on the boat. I guess a saturday night would have been better, maybe more people would have made for a better... More

Their was some hit and misses with the cruise and I had a hard time settling on a final rating. I think 3.5 is fair. The appetizers and deserts were very good. They were all really well done and well presented. The main course-Hubby had the steak, I had the chicken. Hubby liked his steak very much, my chicken was... More

Picked up from the hotel (eventually) after they had gone to the wrong hotel. Taken into the centre of Quebec City where we got the bus for the 3 hour drive to the boat. 3 hours sounds like a long time but thanks to the driver's commentary and a stop half way it passed by quicker than we though it... We decided to do the Sunday Brunch Cruise and were not disappointed! The food was very good for a brunch, with an omelette station, breakfast and lunch items, food that we could all eat (kids and parents). The dining area was large and spacious with excellent views. We were very glad we bought our tickets the day before at the... More

The AML Croisieres are good, a bit expensive maybe but good. You book at the hotel, they pick you up and then there's about 3 hr drive from Quebec City to Bay St Catherine. But it's enjoyable. At least our driver was a very good guide. And then there's this magnificent trip to the fjords and to see the whales... More

Booked the three hour zodiac whale watching trip. We were staying in Quebec City and chose to leave from Baie- Sainte- Catherine rather than Toudassac after reading reviews on TripAdvisor. The ferry and area around Toudassac sounded great but it would have taken about 45 minutes longer. We were worried about the time and drive since we were unfamiliar with... More

Just came back from the whale watching tour which included one night at Manoir Richelieu, an amazing hotel overlooking the St. Lawrence river. Excellent tour, a lot of information given by experienced guides, very good meals and service aboard. One must take into consideration that boats are not allowed to approach the whales from more than 300 meters. We did... More

Nice tour but much of the information provided was for their other tours and seemed like advertising for yet another tour to purchase.

We went on this cruise thinking we'd get to hear a lot about the history of the area and the St. Lawrence. The guide mainly repeated the same basic story we'd heard at several different tourist stops before. They took our picture before getting on the boat and then again while on the boat and kept trying to sell the... More
