If you haven't seen Québec City from the St. Lawrence River, you are missing a whole different perspective. From aboard the Croisieres AML MV Louis Jolliet, you'll get a fabulous, 90-minute guided tour (in both French and English) of the river from Québec City to the Ile d'Orleans bridge (and the renowned Montmorency Falls). Our late-September cruise afforded clear views... More

Beautiful 90 minute tour, if the weather cooperates like it did with us, this is a very pleasant and educational tour, the guide is perfectly bilingual, the ship has plenty of seating and tables, you can relax with a drink if you want, the excursions are cheaper during the week as expected..this tour was a nice complement to our visit... My husband and I took the AML whale watching tour at end of September. Apparently a computer glitch resulted in our not being picked up on time but the situation was eventually resolved. My husband assumed that the bus transportation to/from Baie-Ste-Catherine would be on the large AML motor coach bus pictured in the brochure ad for this tour. Wrong!... More

This cruise was fascinating. Lots of history is shared by a narrator that has impeccable knowledge on the history of Quebec, and speaks both French and English with extreme fluency and ease. Although the cruise ship needs some TLC, it was a great 2 hours on the St-Lawrence.

I did the above cruise in August, luckily when the fireworks are scheduled.. Even though there was a bit of rain about I enjoyed the cruise immensely and the boat was only about 250 - 300 metres from the pontoon used to launch the fireworks. Nice food and friendly waiter coupled with lovely views of Quebec City landmarks lit up... More

If you look for a romantic outing,a special occasion, then the investment in AML:'s RED CARPET MENU may just be what you have been searching for! Leaving from Old Montreal's harbour,to Easternmost Varennes, you are treated to a marvelous boat-tour on St.Lawrence, where you'll see the sunset, and much, much more(but be there at least half an hour before departure,so YOU(and the special one of... Unfortunately, when you opt not to dine on the ship the 4 hour trip is very long. Other than seeing the spectacular Chateau Frontenac lit up at night, the vessel was very outdated, bathrooms were stinky, and no excitement on the boat. I guess a saturday night would have been better, maybe more people would have made for a better... More

Their was some hit and misses with the cruise and I had a hard time settling on a final rating. I think 3.5 is fair. The appetizers and deserts were very good. They were all really well done and well presented. The main course-Hubby had the steak, I had the chicken. Hubby liked his steak very much, my chicken was... More

Picked up from the hotel (eventually) after they had gone to the wrong hotel. Taken into the centre of Quebec City where we got the bus for the 3 hour drive to the boat. 3 hours sounds like a long time but thanks to the driver's commentary and a stop half way it passed by quicker than we though it... We decided to do the Sunday Brunch Cruise and were not disappointed! The food was very good for a brunch, with an omelette station, breakfast and lunch items, food that we could all eat (kids and parents). The dining area was large and spacious with excellent views. We were very glad we bought our tickets the day before at the... More
