We took this tour a few weeks ago and definitely recommend it to anyone traveling to Quebec City. Our tour guide, Vivian, was excellent. She is a talented story teller and really brought the ghostly history of Old Quebec to life. The tour goes off the beaten path taking you to parts of the city you mostly likely wouldn't ordinarily... It was really great, and pretty spooky. There were some good stories, but I was hoping for people to dress up as ghosts and scare us. It didn't happen...but it was still a great time and totally worth the price!

Loved this tour, the guide was a PHD in history so he gave us lots of tips, and even suggested a good place to get breakfast in the morning (it was awesome). Great story teller, fantastic value!

We took the tour in late July and had a great time. We had the family with us which included 3 teenagers. They enjoyed the history/stories and the guide was very fun. Had a couple of "scare" moments that the kids really liked. You do get to see parts of Old Quebec City that you normally wouldn't on a tour.... More

I signed up on a whim and was glad I did. Little connection between the walk and talk, the walk is really a device to present the information in a non-museum format. Lots of information on antique punishment, few explicit tales of horror. Not a scholarly presentation, but good entertainment and great with kids of all ages.

I highly recommend this as a must-do when you are visiting Quebec City. We did the English tour August 11th 2014. Our tour guide William Black was great, he did a great job narrating and seemed to really enjoy his job. He was funny and we had some nice chats with him as we were walking to the different locations.... More

Tour guide, Vivian-sp?, was superb. The tour was an historical accounting of the 'dark side' of Vieux Quebec's history from executions to a 1912 liner sinking in the St. Lawrence to eerie accounts of ghostly apparitions based on actual, historical people and/or events. The tour was narrated in a very dramatic fashion by Vivian who led our group, by candlelight,... More

We took the tour on July 16. It was a nice way to rediscover Quebec and some of its lesser known places, along with interesting stories and mysteries. Thanks for a very good evening.

I don't know how to rate this. Fun because I discovered part of the town I didn't know; fun because of the creepy spots where we stopped; fun in the church, in the dark, at the end of the tour; A bit disappointed too. Our guide didn't know her text very well and walked very fast. Some people had difficulty... More

Dear QuebecDeltaLima, Thank you for taking the time to share your honest comments. We all work very hard to master all of our stories before presenting them to our groups, and not until mastery is achieved do the guides start performing for the public. I am sorry that your guide had an off-night and that you waited at the end... More
