Our tour with Michael O'Neil zipped by and held our attention despite going 30 minutes overtime (and he also informed us it was his very first tour!). He genuinely loves this province, and he has many family links to historical institutions - his personal stories make the history more lively. This tour did not touch on any tense political topics... My tour was scheduled for a Friday but postponed to the next day as I was the only person registered for the tour. Our tour guide (Carol) was friendly and knowledgeable. She encouraged people to ask questions and did her best to answer all of them. During the tour she took the time to get to know her group, asking... More

We really loved this tour. The guide was friendly and knowledgable and really seemed to enjoy his job. The tour covered three restaurants all who gave us tasters made of local ingredients, a chocolate shop, a local historic grocery, tasters of local whiskey and ciders, and a maple shop. Based on the tour we actually changed our dinner reservations and... More

We often participate in a tour of cities we visit, and the quality varies a lot. The Grand (walking) Tour of Old Quebec was one of the better ones we've been on. It helped that our guide, Neil, was personable and entertaining, besides having a great depth of knowledge of Quebec and its history. The tour proceeded at a comfortable... More

This tour was a great way to get an overview of Quebec City. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and a lot of great information about local history and anecdotal stories. It was really engaging a fun. I would recommend that travelers take the tour early on in their trip to Quebec as our guide gave us great recommendations on... More

The first thing we do when planning a trip to any city now is to research the availability of a food tour - you get tasting treats of food and drink (native to the area), as well as history and culture. This tour was excellent, with stops at the maple store/museum, the SAQ for maple whiskey (Sortilege), the oldest grocery... More

If there is one thing I like as much as great architecture, it's great food! And this tour had both in spades. Not to mention our tour guide Robert gave amazing insights....a great behind the scenes look at some of the best sights and restaurants in Vieux-Québec. He was so knowledgeable and a great conversationalist...I'm not sure how the hospitable... More

Had a great time on a Christmas food tour over the holidays. Our hungry group had folks from Ontario, Alberta, St. Louis and of course Boston! This guided walking tour stopped at several spots for refreshments - chic hotels, trendy restaurants and marketplaces. We tasted local delicacies, desserts, tea & cookies, wines, ciders and more. Our guide Robert was informative... More

The quebec food tour is a must-do while visiting Quebec City. Our tour guide was a typically friendly local who took us to a great variety of sites. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to tour with. This 2 1/2 walking tour goes to both touristy AND local hole-in-the-wall places so you feel you are really getting to know... More

Quebec City was a featured two-day port call on our Canada cruise. Based on reviews here, we booked the "Grand walking tour" to begin our visit. We had an excellent guide and as advertised the walk was almost entirely downhill. I took about 150 photos during our tour. The "Ecobus" is a great way to get to the meeting place... More
