Based on other positive reviews of Tours Voir Quebec, we booked the Grand Tour with another couple. We made the reservation at the Visitor Information Center on Palace D'Arms plaza (a good place for other tourist info and rest rooms). Our guide was Neil Schumacher. Neil is an American with an advanced degree in French history. He truly loves Quebec... More

We booked this tour before arriving in Quebec City going on reviews we read about it. Go inside the tourist office on rue Ste-Anne across from the Chateau Frontenac to get your tickets. (There are restrooms there.) After retrieving our tickets we were told to meet across the street to hook up with our guide. Our guide told us that... More

Neil is a highly knowledgeable and very likeable guide. He will inspire you to both laugh and learn during his two hour walking tour of old Quebec. Highly recommended to any visitor - whether you're new to Canadian history, or sharpening up your knowledge of New France, the Seven Years war, or other relevant topics. Don't forget to dress appropriately... More

Booked a walking tour at the city tourist office. It was led by Robert whose passion was clearly evident. He was brilliant: knowledgeable, funny, interesting. He never rushed - went over the time limit by 45 minutes which as excellent.

My hubby and I have been to Quebec on several occasions, but this time we decided to take a guided historical tour of the Old city with Tours Voir Québec. I visited their website and wanted to book two different tours, the Grand Tour and the Christmas Food Tour, but the French tours didn’t match. Called directly and spoke to... More

We arrived to the city Friday night and went on the 'Grand Tour' Saturday morning. WOW - what a perfect way to start our vacation in Quebec City. Our tour guide - Robert - was absolutely amazing. Very friendly, extremely knowledge and his true passion for Old Quebec and 'La Belle Province' really shines through during his guides. Had a... More

We signed up for the two hour walking tour and scored with a terrific guide, Neil Schomaker. Neil has an advanced graduate degree in French History that is relevant to the developmental history of Quebec and helps train other tour guides too. He was engaging, bilingual of course, and was eager to share his historical insight as well as current... More

Thank you, Harry! We loved our walking tour; it was an amazing way to spend New Year's Eve. Harry was charming and inclusive. Thanks in large part to him, our children, ages 16 and 11, surprised themselves with their adventurous food tasting and cold-weather stamina on this 2.5hr tour. Family favorites were the spicy hot cocoa at The Fudgerie and... More

My wife and I booked their combo of the grand walking tour and country tour for day of sightseeing. My issue with this company is that the second part of the combo was not operated by them. Instead we were passed off to a larger operator. We had our voucher and it was a big bus company (55 people +)..... More

We are glad that you enjoyed our Grand Tour, thank you for taking the time to post a review. We have to say that the very first sentence on the web page of the combo mentions "Old Quebec and Country combines the Grand Tour from Tours Voir Québec and the Countryside Tour from Old Quebec Tours." So we do not... More

We did a tour on our recent trip to Quebec and had a blast. Our group was really fun and we ended up making friends with the other people on the tour. Our tour guide Harry was the best - super informative and great at finding ways for us to stay together and move to a quiet area (despite heavy... More
