I took the 10 am historic walking tour of Old Quebec which was scheduled to last two hours but ended up running longer as all members of the tour were open to staying. Our guide, Robert, a lifelong resident, was excellent. We walked through areas of both the upper and lower city, stopping at key sites and crossroads to learn... More

Simon Jacobs was our personal tour guide. He was full of historical knowledge, cultural knowledge and personality. My husband loves military history, so Simon gave us all of the Quebec City info about its history. He showed us interesting places in the city that gave us a real perspective on its history. He took us to amazing art galleries, told... More

Starting at the Tourist information centre in the upper town this tour was a well informed walk of some 2 hours plus finishing in the lower town. As a retired graduate of the local university Robert was very well placed to inform us of many interesting facts as we made our way slowly down and through the town. He even... More

We took this two hour walking tour through the old city and the Petit Champlain Quartier. It was excellent. If you could do only one thing in this city this is what I would recommend. Our guide, Marie, knew all the history and great spots to visit in the old city to get a sense of the history and culture... More

This two hour walking tour was the perfect way to get oriented to both the history and geography of the city. Our tour guide Marie was engaging and so knowledgeable - a wonderful advocate for the city she so clearly loves.

Went on 3 tours 'Plains & Parliaments', 'Bury Your Dead' and the 'Grand Tour'. Each guide was excellent and each tour had different information. Great way to see a wonderful walking city.

I took the two hour Grand walking tour. This was a great tour and a great introduction to the city and history. However, it is not as leisurely a stroll as their website suggests. While I believe they did their best to keep it downhill ,there are still lots of up and down hills (hard to avoid in Quebec City).... More

Went on one of the walking tours offered in the tourist information building. It lasted about 3 hours and was a great way to visit some of the places you may want to return to. Our guide was knowledgable and it was a pleasant way to spend a few hours.

Janet did our walking tour and it was really great! We asked the concierge at out hotel about walking tours and she set us up with this one. It really gave a great feel for the area and history. Later we booked another super highly rated tour through the Viator service and it out to be the same tour company.... More

We wanted a history lesson of Quebec City and this was the perfect solution. Our guide Robert was enthusiastic and entertaining. We covered history, architecture, climate and much more. He suggested places to eat and shop. Do this tour early in you trip and explore from there.
