We love doing this type of tour, you can learn so much about the location, history, food that is useful for your entire stay. Michael O'Neil was our tour guide - he was excellent - we learned a lot about Quebec City as we walked from stop to stop. These tours are small groups (12 - 15 people) and there... More

We spent well over 2 hours with Neil Schomaker who is a tremendous guide. His passion and education are in French Canadian history and we learned so much from him including fun facts. Neil is an American living in Quebec City, speaks French fluently with a Minnesota accent! We started in the lower city on the St. Lawrence and continued... More

When visiting a city, I always enjoy learning the history of the place and seeing the important places first. You get your money's worth with this tour group, especially with a private tour guided by Neil Schomaker. He is a former University professor raised in the United States, educated in France and speaks fluent French. He loves Quebec and it... More

9 women from Alabama had a private 3 hour tour of Quebec. Neil Schomaker was our fabulous guide and could not have been better. We started in lower town where he met us at our condo and it ended up in upper town close to the tourist information center. Neil knows ALL there is to know about the town and... More

We had a private walking tour for the morning with Robert V. His depth of knowledge and perspective were invaluable. We learned the broad sweep of the social, religious, and military history of Quebec. It was very interesting to have the perspective of an emigrant from the US to Canada and to see the city from a resident's point of... More

My husband and I joined 8 others on a easy-paced 2.5 hour tour of Old Quebec. We got the history basics and recommendations for activities and eating. It is an excellent way to gain a sense of the city learn about things you might like to do while there.

Richard was our guide. The group had about 15 people. The guide was very fluent in English. He was friendly and funny. A great deal of time was spent on the history of the city and the battles for control of the city. I took this tour on the first morning in Old Quebec. It was an efficient way to... More

We traveled with our two daughters, aged 20 and 22. The history tour did not interest them as much as the food tour, so we booked this. Our guide was Michael, and there were a total of 12 people in our tour group, mostly middle-aged couples. You do get some history along with the ability to sample food at restaurants... More

This tour company was easy and did a great job. We did the historic walking tour of old Quebec as well as the tour called Bury Your Dead. Both were great. The historic tour gave us a perfect overview of the old city and allowed us the afternoon to go back to what we wanted to see. Bury Your Dead... More

This is a 2 1/2 hr + walking tour of old Quebec City focusing on the locations which play a roll in the award winning mystery "Bury Your Dead" by Louise Penny. My wife, myself and two close friends booked this tour and we all came away feeling this was the best historic walking tour we had ever taken. Certainly,... More
