we took the 10:30 Old Quebec tour with Jocelyn and were not disappointed. Our tour was an English only Quebec City walking tour that lead us through all the important sites of Old Quebec. Its content is such that people travelling on their own, in small groups or Quebec City dwellers will enjoy The Grand Tour. Jocelyn was fabulous taking... More

We took a 2 hour private walking tour of the Old City with Simon. It was a great introduction to the city and it's history. Simon was very knowledgeable and the time flew by!

I took the 2-hour Grand tour with my 3 traveling companions on the afternoon of our second day in Quebec City. We were ready to walk a lot for the next 2 hours (started a little after 3:30 from the Tourist Information center) with Harry, who was from Toronto but has lived in Quebec for 10 years. We had 13... I feel the walking tours are usually a good idea to do first thing in a new city to give me an idea how to navigate, what's worthwhile to see, and to learn some history. Our tour was 2.5 hours which was not too long but the idea of sitting on a bus for a longer tour did not appeal... More

We did the morning tour of the Old City with Michael. It was a good introduction to the city and its history. Michael was an entertaining guide. Later we did the food tour with Margarita. This is where the caveat applies. We thought the tour was going to be mostly focused on the Rue Saint Jean, as it was described... More

We are sorry our lower town food tour didn't leave a good impression on you. As you mention, the weekend that you booked our food tour was very busy and we tried to accommodate everyone. When we were unable to grant more space on our upper food tour, we "opened" our lower town one and we advised every customer about... More

My wife and I signed up for two tours - the Old Quebec City Walking Tour and the Food Tour. The walking tour was led by Janet and she was wonderful. I would highly recommend asking for her by name because she was the perfect guide - knowledgeable, friendly, articulate, open. We went at 10:30 and walked all over and... More

We are glad that you enjoyed the work of our guides, they read all reviews about us and it keeps them on the edge. We just want to comment on your appreciation of our upper town food tour. We are very sorry about the fact that you took the only tour so far this year that was overbooked by two... More

If you're into history and want to learn about Quebec City, this tour is for you. We went on a tour with Simon and he was an awesome guide. He was knowledgable about the city and the history. The tour really laid out why Quebec City is setup the way it is and gave us a great understanding of Quebec's... More

We had a walking tour with Simon Jacobs. He was great. His enthusiasm for his city was evident, and I learned a lot about the setup of the city and the history. He took us for a long tour, so we were a bit exhausted by the end, but it was well worth it. We even stepped into a couple... More

Thank you for taking the time to post a review about Simon's work. Our guides often go beyond the two hours time frame advertised for the Grand Tour, but they do this only when everybody in the group agree. There is so much to talk about Quebec City and we love to share it! More

Would definitely recommend the food tour. Our guide Michael was both entertaining & informative. Visited several restaurants in Vieux Quebec as well as on the Rue St. Jean. Very tasty food & paired wonderfully with wines & beers.

We are very happy that you loved our food tour. Indeed, the array of food samplings and wine/beer pairings are impressive, considering that we sell this two and half hour long walking tour for only 42,95$ plus taxes. If you ever come back to Quebec City, try our Grand Tour, you won't be disappointed either. More
