If you like beer, Dieu du Ciel is a fantastic place to drink amazing beer. The beer is great and the laid back vibe doesn't distract you from the purpose of going to this beer, drinking great beer.

A very nice "micro brasserie" with nice atmosphere and various types of home made beer. I already came here several times..

We have been coming to Montreal for 10+ years and I am not sure how we missed this gem in the past. This is the place for a relaxed vibe and the best craft beer in Montreal and some of the best in the world. Snacks were great and service was better. Would highly recommend.

After spending a couple of days meandering around Montreal - and feeling a little underwhelmed - my wife and I decided to do what we do best...find a local place and grab a seat for a few hours. I'm slowly becoming a beer snob and my wife has decided to put up with it (despite being unable to drink beer... More

They have a wide range of beers both in tap and in bottles. The beers in tap change a lot so the pub is an excellent choice for those wanting to try new flavors. They also serve food so it's a great place to meet friends. All in All, one of my favorite pubs in Montreal and definitely a MUST... More

This pub serves the best beer that I have ever had, "bar" none. This is saying something. Their scotch ale is nothing short of incredible, as are their stouts. I also appreciate the often high alcohol content of their beer -- 8-9% is not uncommon on their menu. The price is also very reasonable; it's usually $5.75/pint, in contrast to... More

My husband and I had some fabulous beer at this comfortable, busy place. Amazing selection of brews - IPAs, blondes, stouts - really everything. If you are a beer lover this is a must in Montreal.

Rating based on over a dozen visits, 2004-2013. I can only echo what others have said; if you are a beer lover, a really serious beer lover, this has to be considered a major destination. Though they have been bottling some of their best and most popular beers (including the wonderful "Peche mortel" coffee Imperial Stout and their magnificent black... More

I didn't write that title lightly. This place has the best beer I have ever had outside of Europe. They even give the Old World brewers a run for their money, though they might be on par if you give Dieu du Ciel a handicap of a couple hundred years. We tried several of their brews, and while my judgement... More
