I recently visited Rainspa on May 17 for a "Treat for Two" as a birthday present to my boyfriend. It was an amazing experience, and definitely worth the money. As english speaking clients, all staff was very polite. We enjoyed our massages by the wonderful Nicole and Mihaela. The estheticians Kelly and Elodie were exceptional. They were funny and very... Yesterday I had an amazing time at Rainspa. I signed up for a Vichy Rain massage. For $130 plus tax, I had high expectations and they were met. I arrived and was escorted around by a very nice person. My locker had a great robe, comfortable slippers, and towel. Towel was a bit scratchy. I had some extra time and... More

On Saturday the 18th of April I decided to try out rain spa for a facial. When I got there the girl at the reception was very polite and greeted me with a smile. The esthetician that did my facial Maria Soupionis was just excellent and it was by far the best facial I've had to date. She took the time... More

My wife and I just had a really great massage and spa experience at the Rainspa in Montreal. The spa itself is very nice, well appointed and clean. The Hammam steam room was spectacular, but the real treat was the massage. We had a couples massage and the MT's Vanessa and Tanya, were professional, very personal, and wonderfully attentive. Though... More

We were in Montreal for a family wedding and stayed at the Le Place d'Armes Hotel, so we reserved foot reflexology sessions at the Rainspa during our stay. We also used the Hammam (Middle Eastern steam bath) which was wonderful, and free for our use, since we had booked the other sessions. I really loved the steam bath, and spent... More

my wife treated us to a couples message here on our recent trip to Montreal. She was on her February break and we spent a couple of nights in Montreal. The Spa is very nice. I came to the Rainspa for an afternoon of pampering for my mother's (big) birthday. They were so accommodating and friendly when we arrived. We had a hour to relax before my massage and her facial and we took full advance of the relaxing atmosphere and the hammam steam room. I was then treated to the BEST MASSAGE OF MY... More

This place had good service and had a relaxing atmosphere, but I feel it was a touch expensive for what my wife and I got. I think for the price we paid I was expecting just a little bit more. Besides that we were treated well as customers. The staff knew their stuff and we're professional. My wife was especially... More

After leaving me waiting nude for more than an hour, the staff at this "spa" did not even have the courtesy to tell me that my massage had been cancelled due to the fact that they could not find a masseuse that was qualified to perform the treatment. Staying in Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)

Neighborhood Profile
Vieux-Montreal (Old Montreal)
The historic center of Montreal, Vieux-Port is home to some of the city's most antiquated buildings and picturesque streets. Along the waters of the St. Lawrence River, the bank of Old Port features museums, festivals, food stalls, and outdoor athletics, a celebrated part of the city that explodes into fireworks displays on warm summer nights. At its center, street performers and artists compete with sprawling restaurant terraces for space along Jacques-Cartier Square, while the cobbled streets of Rue St. Paul and Rue Notre-Dame offer a reprieve of quiet galleries and atmospheric wine bars. Horse-drawn carriages are not an uncommon part of traffic, and the narrows they traverse are lined with boutiques, crêperies, and poutine shops enshrined in buildings of stone and wooden lattices. Here you can evoke Montreal's past with a traditional cooking lesson or historical tour, then enjoy its artistic present with live music and theater.
