Magical and entertaining OSM with Conductor Kent Nagano. The OSM have concerts all over the city and usually has a great annual and diversified program. When in Montreal, if you enjoy beautifully orchestrated classical music, this is a must

On cold evenings you can enter from the Metro. This is a rather austere and very modern, but nonetheless impressive concert hall with very spacious seating and good views for all. However, we sat near the back and felt a very long way from the action and found the sound of the orchestra a bit muted. Depends what you see... More

The concert hall is well worth seeing, and state-of-the-art in every possible way. The acoustics are phenomenal, and the OSM does justice to both the technology and warmth of the place. The ushers are helpful and polite, even if you don't speak French. It's very easy to see that Montreal loves its orchestra and Maestro Negano, and that the feeling... More

Simply, fantastic.Would do it again and again. Hopefully the next time, I can take a friend with. No visit to Montreal is complete without attending such a concert like that.

Someone passed free tickets onto us. We are not fans of orchestra but went to lend an ear, perhaps we would discover something new. We ended up counting the minutes to the end. The entreacte was only after 15 minutes and then we were stuck for over 1 and a half hours until we could get a break. Simply put,... More

Great opportunity to see the free open air concert given by OSM! We go to see their regular shows too, but the one where you can sit on your blanket and stare at the sky while listening to the best music ever is pure joy!

I have attended many concerts at the OSM, usually from the front row of the balcony which gives a good sound /price combination and is full of music enthusiasts. The sound in the new hall which is now 2 years old is very good, and I can hear the individual instruments. Their repetoire is very varied and there should be... More

A very good orchestra with interesting programs of music. The new concert hall in Place des Arts is worth a visit.
