On our trip to Montreal my husband and I spent a lazy, rainy Sunday exploring Latin Quarter and the surrounding neighborhoods and really enjoyed ourselves. In addition to being chock full of bars and restaurants, the area has a nice energy to it. I would recommend this area to visitors who do not want to spend all of their time... More

Even in the cloudy, rainy weather I had while visiting Montreal, I found the Latin Quarter to be a nice street to stroll along. Lots and lots of restaurants. Upon coming to the Latin Quarter Hotel, we were accosted by a well-meaning but agressive heroin addict who wanted to help us with our bags...and wallets.
