We spotted this little bike shop when we had stopped to sit by the Lachine Canal. We decided to go for it. We didn't have to make reservations we just arrived and rented our bikes. They helped us with everything and they have a lot of options. We biked along the canal which was great and well all the way... More

We hired a bike and cruised around the island. The staff were helpful in directing us in the right direction and pointing out a brewery or 2. The bikes are in very good condition (as new) and rode very well. I thought, at $30 for day, the price was fair for what we got.

The ride down the canal or up to the City is easy. The bikes are in good shape, the staff are fully bilingual, helpful and the process is simple. Its a great way to see part of Montreal and to enjoy the bikeways of Montreal. The bikes are better than the rent on the street ones and the ones on... More

The staff here was perfect at setting us up with the right bikes for our family's needs. I had a great bike with an added seat and cage bar setup on the back for my six year old to sit in. My wife, my eight year old and eleven year old we're also set up with perfect single bikes for... More

The Lachine Canal is a great place for a Sunday bike ride, you'll see he's of people out doing just that. My bicyclette is a small shack just across the bridge from the Atwater Market (itself well worth a visit) but they have a good range of bikes kept in excellent conidition, and friendly English speaking staff. We got two... More

I rented a road bike for a 60 mile ride. The staff was friendly and helpful, suggesting an excellent route and taking care of my pedals. The bike was a like-new very solid Canondale that was spotless and functioned perfectly. Terrific experience overall.

We rented a couple of bicycles to enjoy the canal Lachine. Very friends staff, reasonable prices for very well maintained bicycles. Conveniently located as you can enjoy the Atwater market and have a bite there after your tour

We were given good quality bicycles at reasonable prices from a very convenient location, but that's not why I am writing this review. I'm writing it because Stephanie, Roger and their staff were pleasant, efficient and most willing to go the extra mile to ensure that we were given exactly what we wanted. The whole experience was a lot of... More

Staying in Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)

Neighborhood Profile
Le Sud-Ouest (Southwest District)
Once the core of industrialized Montreal, the factories and historic buildings of Le Sud-Ouest have been renovated into homes, museums, and small businesses. The rejuvenated landscape has put its Saint-Henri district in vogue, with cutting-edge galleries and an ever-expanding network of restaurants. Foodies can especially delight in the mom-and-pop shops in Little Burgundy, or at the Atwater Market, where outdoor stalls sell fresh fruit, vegetables, and meat, street vendors have menus of hot fish and wine, and the indoor market offers chocolate, breads, and coffee beans. Dominated by the gentle waters of the Lachine Canal, Le Sud-Ouest is still very much an outdoor town, with a number of pedestrian-only bridges traversing the waters, bike paths along the canal with views of the Leisure Boats, and massive green spaces like Angrignon Park to stop for a picnic, or to play a sport.
