We were seeking out some nightlight in Montreal suitable for those who are not 18 and thus uninterested in the super club scene. We fell upong Le Piano Rouge and it was perfect. We got there early (about 9:30 pm) and caught a small table right up front. The waitress was very attentive and friendly throughout the night. There was... More

I came here with some girlfriends because we wanted to go listen to good music and dance without being in a 'party' scene. From the gentleman at the door to the great music inside, we found exactly what we were looking for. It was small, had convenient places to hang up our jackets (no $$ coat check), fun music that... I was visiting from Ottawa, hoping to be treated to some nice live music in a great atmosphere. First off, impolite staff at door who could not find our reservation. As a client, my first impression should not be that I am bothering you. We were reluctantly seated at another group's table/seating area after the hostess and manager asked whether... More

Been here several times during stays in old montreal.. The musicians were excellent on each occasion. Small place with exposed old stone walls. Relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Attentive friendly service. Great martinis and good selection of single malt scotch.

This is one of the most unique bars I have ever visited. We were attracted by the red piano in the window. The live entertainment was exceptional! There was a dj that played amazing classic house and hiphop. We had an amazing time!!!!

Stumbled upon this place on a recent business trip to Montreal. Big red piano in the window. Friendly welcoming staff. Excellent martinis. Wonderful atmosphere.A small cozy place but somehow they managed to squeeze in a seven piece band including 3 horns playing an uptempo blend of what they called soul electric, acid jazz. I think they were called the Atomics.... More

If this place used to be a hip jazz bar it ain't any more. Total tourist trap. This is not where real music fans go to hear great music. Save your money!

We have an exceptional friendly and efficient staff Our music rooster often include world class musicians such as Jose James, Lorraine Klassen, Slim Williams, Obed Calvaire etc Although we have only been in existence for less than two (2) years,...
