Science Centre is great for younger children. Suggestion would be to stamp your hand when you purchase your tickets, rather than giving you a paper which you show at the first exhibit. Dinosaur Exhibit was cool.

The dinosaur exhibit they had was great; but, this place isn't really that science oriented. The Toronto Science Centre does a much better job at balancing entertainment vs. learning. Adults might find the TO science center to also be more interesting themselves than the Montreal one which is mainly aimed at the very young ones. Still, not a bad place... More

Went with a 7 and 5 year old and they both cried when we had to leave... And honestly, that reflected my feelings too... 'nuff said!

We visited the Montreal Science Centre with children aged 10 and 8 and were very impressed. We've been to a lot of science centres around the world, and after a while they are all very similar. This one had some great innovations, and some new and different ways to explain the old favourites. Our favourite part was where you got... More

My elementary-school-aged sons and I arrived as soon as they opened and didn't leave until closing. The boys loved all the hands-on exhibits and wanted to go back to do them all some more. The museum did say that the average visit is 2-3 hours, but we like science museums so I knew we'd be there all day.

We thought the museum building was interesting and architecturally stimulating, but the exhibits were limited and sparce compared to science museums we have visited in Chicago and Boston; cities of comparable size. We thought some of the hands on stuff was probably geared toward younger visitors, but overall an ok way to spend a rainy Monday.

I have been going to this science centre for years, as I live in Montreal. You can normally count on a spectacular IMAX film, and this time around, it was one of the best yet, called Rescue 3D, which I liked so much I wanted to go again. Not very long, about 40 minutes, but then again, IMAX films are... More

We went to the museum while visiting Montreal and were excited to see the Indiana Jones Exhibit. The exhibit was lots of fun and every interactive for the kids. Lots of other exhibits in the museum, as well. Can easily keep the family entertained for most of the day.

We found the Indiana Jones exhibition very interesting, both the behind-the-scenes moviemaking information and especially, the information about archaeology. The exhibit came with a handheld audio/video tour which was very informative. Due to lack of time we didn't see the permanent exhibits.

Went specifically to see this exhibit, did not enter the Science Centre area. We enjoyed the interactive format using the handheld device which explained props and trailers, although sometimes there was a delay waiting for the people ahead of you to finish before you could begin. Timed tickets, but still quite crowded. Seeing the authentic props and costumes from the... More
