The Tower is a great way to see all of Montreal. There is nothing great about it, the guides up top are unable to answer any questions. There was no history of why it was built. The tram ride up gives you a good view of the city of Montreal. I would recommend going up to see it, but do... More

It's a shame because I found the Olympic tower to be a spectacular buiding and one of which I photographed many times. However, I was disappointed when we visited the observatory. Firstly the staff were rude and it isn't cheap at $15 each (adult admission) I really don't feel like it was worth the money as the experience wasn't that... More

Hop on the metro from downtown, coming off at "Viau". Five minute walk to the tower. The funicular carriage takes you up to the observation deck with spectacular views all around Montreal. Needless to say, pick a reasonably clear day for the best experience. The whole thing took us just under 2 hrs, from deciding to do it from a... More

We opted for one touristy adventure while in Montreal and inspired by this year's Olympics, went to the Olympic tower. The architecture of the area was neat, but the tower was very run down. We waited awhile until a handful of people took the funicular up. It lets you off at the gift shop. The windows go around 3/4ths of... More

Every city seems to have its tall thing to climb - in Montreal, it's the Olympic Stadium Observatory. Unfortunately, unlike the Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Sears Tower in Chicago, there isn't much point, either in the journey or the destination. We made the trip out to Olympic Stadium on the metro, which was quick and convenient. However, that... More

The Olympic Tower or the Tour de Montreal was amazing. The view truly is amazing and definitely worth the visit. You get to see all of Montreal, and the elevator on the way up is really fun. The tower is actually the tallest leaning tower in the world and it’s really neat the way the elevator goes up the side... More
