This is a very good place with plenty of animations. Th roller coasters are good but not the most modern ones: good for the non expert and famillies. It is rather busy Summer time as very easy to get there from Montreal.

This wasn't my first time at this park and I have had fun there before.. But this time it was a lot worse... The most attractive rollercoaster, Le Goliath, was closed for the day. Not a warning of this on their website or at the front gates.. (not that I saw at least). That means that the hundreds of people... More

We love a spot of adrenaline but any "high." or fun was greatly reducedout by the huge queues. We did however like the onsite Subway which allowed us to get out of the sun for half an hour. I wouldn't say La Ronde is bad value but I wouldn't recommend making it the destination on a long road trip.

We have season passes to our local Six Flags, so when we were on vacation, we decided to use our passes to visit La Ronde. I have three kids and a husband who all love coasters, and they wanted to compare La Ronde to the other Six Flags we've visited. Because we had the passes, we broke our visit up... More

I didn't even know there was an Amusement Park in Montreal until going on a Roadtrip to Nova Scotia and returning through Quebec. We purchased online tickets 46.99, and parked across from main gate in unknown lot- $25 flat rate. Saturday Aug 15, entered park, not too busy, lines were ok. The food here is great, McDonalds, to many different... More

The roller coasters are great, but usually the park is overcrowded and you wait multiple hours in line and at the end of the day you do only 3-4 rides top. You need to go when there aren't to many people. Food price is absurd and a bottle of water costs 3$+

We live two hours away so we bought season passes early in the season knowing we would only use them two or three times. They were only a few dollars more than the regular admission and include parking. Our first visit was on a weekend near opening... the lines were a little too much for our three kids. This time... La Ronde is great! I find it much better than most 6 flags, and very fun. It has more rides than most. It also caters well to different ages and I think it's pleasurable for a family. Not too busy or disgusting, but quite a clean park, as far as a park can be.

So much for everyone to do! Activities galore! Some of the park is a little dated but a great family day nonetheless!

I love amusement parks in general. I used to go to Six Flags every year and I love the services, the rides and everything! La Ronde is not on the same level, unfortunately. THE RIDES are pretty much the same you will find in most Six Flags, just with different names. So it is good for the rides. THE SERVICES... More

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighborhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
