The Ecomuseum is a wonderful "zoo", where you get to take your time and observe flora and fauna in a natural habitat. This is not a " disney' style park where you go to be entertained. Nice place too Visit with Young kids. We live near so we go there 2 times a year. Not very expensive.No food served but they provide an indoors spot to eat . Do not expect anything fancy but kids will like it. And they actually have a lot of animals. The only thing nothing new is being added there so... More

A great little zoo about 30 minutes from downtown Montreal. Very inexpensive family outing. Charming zoo with local animals. Many animals are brought here if they are injured and cannot be released into the wild. The staff is composed of mostly volunteers.
