If you are not a veteran gambler this is good for 1 visit . Why ? Not nearly as flashy or bright as Any Las Vegas casino and frankly rather depressing. Some of the walls could use treatment and the lighting is rather stark.

Friendly staff more than willing to ensure your visit is comfortable. They can offering everything but luck, for that you are on your own. Certainly not for children nor would it everyone's cup of tea, but an interesting diversion on a hot summer day.

Seriously. Beautiful casino, they have the usual stuff, yada yada yada, but what made this visit for me was seeing the amazing condos and views on the way there. Check out habitat 67 a few kms down the street on the way there, you won't be disappointed if you have even the smallest appreciation for architecture.

Casino de Montreal was pretty cool from an architectural perspective. Inside the casino is a bit confusing, but pretty cool building overall. Unlike the casinos in Las Vegas or other parts of the world, drinks are not free of charge, and the building is smoke-free. Still, fun atmosphere, because it's a casino.

We just love that this casino is relatively nearby. Lots of slot machines with a variety of amounts. Many tables to choose from to play other games....Free self serve beverages (non-alcoholic) was especially nice! They had a live singer and band who sang from a variety of genres, which added to the fun and lively atmosphere!

We decided to venture here in the late evening and we were blown away by how beautiful it is. It was newly renovated and has 5 floors. There are way more than enough slots but there is also many table games. All the staff were dressed so nicely and very polite. We had so much fun! You can exchange USD... More

Staff neatly dressed and very polite! Aside from that, the place is really huge and very well organised. The slot machines at the bottom and the bets are going up as you go up floors!

I loved the size of this casino, and the selection of the slots. Although there were many slot machines I had never seen. I liked the self serv juice, coffee and pop bar. The live music was great and when we asked how much for the Valet parking we were told to give the driver what ever we wanted. A... More

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighborhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
