Casino de Montreal was pretty cool from an architectural perspective. Inside the casino is a bit confusing, but pretty cool building overall. Unlike the casinos in Las Vegas or other parts of the world, drinks are not free of charge, and the building is smoke-free. Still, fun atmosphere, because it's a casino.

We just love that this casino is relatively nearby. Lots of slot machines with a variety of amounts. Many tables to choose from to play other games....Free self serve beverages (non-alcoholic) was especially nice! They had a live singer and band who sang from a variety of genres, which added to the fun and lively atmosphere!

We decided to venture here in the late evening and we were blown away by how beautiful it is. It was newly renovated and has 5 floors. There are way more than enough slots but there is also many table games. All the staff were dressed so nicely and very polite. We had so much fun! You can exchange USD... More

Staff neatly dressed and very polite! Aside from that, the place is really huge and very well organised. The slot machines at the bottom and the bets are going up as you go up floors!

I loved the size of this casino, and the selection of the slots. Although there were many slot machines I had never seen. I liked the self serv juice, coffee and pop bar. The live music was great and when we asked how much for the Valet parking we were told to give the driver what ever we wanted. A... More

We we're staying in Vermont and decided to make a day trip over to Canada. We were only there for a few hours but enjoyed it. If you have American currency you hAve to first exchange it for Canadian $$$ before you can play. You get paid in Canadian money so if you are not Canadian you have to find... More

Well I visited this casino after I promised myself 2 years ago I would never return to this location because they have expanded and renovated all new and claim to be Canada's largest. Well here is the scoop. ~If you include all of the escalators, stairs and restaurants maybe it compares to the larger casinos in Canada but it is... More

Spent an evening with my wife at the Casino de Montreal. What a gorgeous place. Staff and kind and exclusively polite and helpful. Live music was engaging and cheerful. Restaurants: worse every penny you spend. I would not spend your time on despising every dish, but I just simply say - go for it! Sea food, meat, deserts are exclusive.... More

Casino Montreal is by far one of the more attractive casinos that I have been in. It is situated on many levels and offers a labyrinth like lay-out instead of just more like a warehouse of slot-machines like a lot of casinos I have been in (Ontario). It has virtual horse-racing which is the one thing that makes me keep... More

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighborhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
