Well I visited this casino after I promised myself 2 years ago I would never return to this location because they have expanded and renovated all new and claim to be Canada's largest. Well here is the scoop. ~If you include all of the escalators, stairs and restaurants maybe it compares to the larger casinos in Canada but it is... More

Spent an evening with my wife at the Casino de Montreal. What a gorgeous place. Staff and kind and exclusively polite and helpful. Live music was engaging and cheerful. Restaurants: worse every penny you spend. I would not spend your time on despising every dish, but I just simply say - go for it! Sea food, meat, deserts are exclusive.... More

Casino Montreal is by far one of the more attractive casinos that I have been in. It is situated on many levels and offers a labyrinth like lay-out instead of just more like a warehouse of slot-machines like a lot of casinos I have been in (Ontario). It has virtual horse-racing which is the one thing that makes me keep... More

Myself and my 18 year old nephew visited the Casino de Montreal, and enjoyed it. It was his first experience in a casino, and within a few minutes, he won $100.00 on a slot machine. We had lunch in the cafeteria-style restaurant upstairs, and were surprised that the prices were pretty reasonable, and the food was actually not bad (chicken... More

located on the Notre Dame Island in Montreal, Quebec, and is the largest casino in Canada. The casino is open twenty-four hours a day, seven days a week. You are right next to the race Track (Le Circuit Gilles-Villeneuve) There are penalty of things to do. Bilking, walking, running, paddle boating and many more things to do. It's also great... More

We stopped in for an hour. I won so I had fun. It's not like Vegas but what is? If you have a little free time why not. Our dealer at the blackjack table was very friendly and good to me so I liked him even better.

This casino is very trendy looking from the outside to the inside. Lots of slots. It was so crowded the day we were there, it was a National Holiday in Quebec and everyone was off work, so they all headed to the casino. Action everywhere.

I visited saturday night and was over crowded, i expect that because not too many activities to do in winter. Huge casino (5 floors). Live Band with very nice music. Best thing? NO SMOKE casino wich make it differents than others. I had a very good time.

This year my husband and I decided to celebrate the new year with a bang. The casino was booming with joyous celebration. Bands non stop music entertainment; the casino was full of happy people celebrating the end of 2014 and the new beginning 2015. We tried the Asian restaurant because we are vegetarian but there were other possibilities. We sat... More

Staying in Parc Jean-Drapeau

Neighborhood Profile
Parc Jean-Drapeau
The islands of Saint-Helene and Notre-Dame together make up the anchored fabric of Parc Jean-Drapeau. The mostly man-made grounds were built to be the site of the 1967 World's Fair, and the chiefly car-free space still retains its inherited carnival character. A wonderland of foliage and flora awaits at the Jardins des Floralies, with its expanse of pond-marked wetlands making it perfect for hiking, nature walks, and exploration. Old exhibitions still straddle the newest entertainment complexes, including the high-flying roller coasters of La Ronde Amusement Park and the brightly-lit Casino de Montréal. From the springtime on, families crowd the sandy beaches with candy-striped umbrellas, and rowers take to the Olympic Basin, where the spherical American Pavilion and the high brick Tour de Lévis provide an atypical backdrop. A short metro trip carries visitors and locals to this vacationing spot, providing leisure and activity outside of the inner city.
