Our tour guide was a friendly and knowledgeable. Learning the history and different stories of Montreal was fun and interactive. He added in personal anecdotes and also made a number of suggestions on what to do and eat. The tour took about two and a half hours and had a good mix of indoor and outdoor experiences (which was nice... More

Very nice tour in a very nice, picturesque city. Our guide was very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. He answered all questions fully. He adjusted the pace to the group. The tour took about two and a half hours. I knew a great deal more about the history of the Montreal, Quebec and Canada than I would have otherwise. One of... More

I was fortunate to experience two walking tours with Old Montreal Walking Tours: Old Montreal East, and Old Montreal West. Both tours depart from the front steps of the Notre-Dame Basilica, and can be taken on the same day. The East tour departs at 11:00am, while the West tour departs at 1:30pm. Note that these tours are operated by a... More

I enjoyed walking through China Town area, Notre Dame, dining and shopping. Visited the Canada University, Snowden and Jewish areas. Loved Montreal!

My boyfriend and I took both the east side and west side tours (in one day). They are about 90 minutes each with a break in between. The east side was more historic, which is more interesting to me. The guides were very knowledgeable and helpful. Definitely recommend taking this tour in the beginning of your stay so if you... More

We took the 1.5 hour afternoon tour of Montreal Ouest this past week. It was a very good balance of information, walking, stopping/looking. Not overwhelming but not dumbed down either. We enjoyed it very much! There are two 1.5 hour tours per day - one for east side one for west side - very reasonable approach.

I loved the 17th century foundation & old Montreal is more alive than ever and the people were so polite with greetings and salutations.

Our guide was fantastic and we felt he covered all the key highlights and low points of montreal's history. We have been to Montreal before but now feel we really understand the citys d how it developed. Good 2+ hours of a high quality tour.
