Excellent museum, friendly staff and "the" place to go for history on PEI. Definitely one of the top places to visit. More

The museum is small but interesting. The video is very good. I wouldn't go too far out of my way to visit but it is well done. More

This Museum tells the story of the Acadians in Prince Edward Island and their expulsion from the island by the British in the 1750’s. Firstly, you must be interested in history or learning about culture to enjoy this place, otherwise you'll be bored out of your mind. This little musuem costs less than $4 to enter and provides an excellent history of the Acadian people, the Acadians in PEI, and where the Acadians are today and how they preserve their culture.
