Attractive shops

My hubby and I found the landing very eye appealing and it was fun shopping too. Shops had a variety of items and souveniers too.

If you are looking for great gift shops while in PEI, this is the place. The staff are helpful and the local artist have a wonderful selection of gifts for everyone on your list. They are helpful and willing to go the extra mile to help you out. That means a lot to me.

We stopped in to get ice cream but ended up visiting every little shop. Staff are all very friendly and it's an interesting set up that they have. Lots of touristy stuff and "Anne" gear but also lots of other PEI themed knick knacks. The kids even enjoyed shopping here, especially the "dirty shirt" shop.

Loved the little gift shops. Lots of things to see. Although a little pricey :) there was a tropical storm at the time so didn't get to have lunch or visit every store

Thank you for your kind review. We love when our visitors enjoy our shops, live performance and wonderful food. We are a unique welcome on the waterfront and love welcoming visitors and residents to discover what is new each season as well as the things that have become Summerside tradition like great food and hospitality. This quaint shopping boardwalk is a great spot to pick up gifts and souvenirs or to enjoy a nice meal on the deck at the Deckhouse - LOVE the Lobster BLT. Celtic items, yummy fudge and beach related items are here. The step dancers are wonderful and the cardboard boat races during the Lobster Carnival are great fun. We just... More

This little artsy crafty set of stores are set so as to appear to be dock shanties. They achieve that but the number and content of the stores were very disappointing. I did however like the PEI dirt shirt and actually bought one for my grandson

It takes about 20 minutes to walk around this boardwalk. I wouldn't go back! I had also read the Bay Walk along the shore here was great - nothing to see except the ocean. Lots of garbage around too.

This place might be receiving more stores. I didn't expect much, but actually walked away with bags of gifts. The service was good and the merchants friendly. Found one store (Red Sand Island) that actually sold local PEI products, which was refreshing, since many merchants sell products from other countries.

On the waterfront you will find Spinnaker's Landing. It looks cute with promise. Unfortunately it doesn't live up to it's potential. It has about 15 little shops. They are OK. Nothing spectacular. I come by every year hoping to find something new and unique but the stores don't get any better. Most offer the regular tourist goodies with some unique... More
