Wyatt House is an amazing insight into the lives of a well-to-do family living in Summerside in the Victorian and Edwardian eras. The vast majority of the displayed pieces in the house are authentic to the times, having been donated to Summerside along with the house after the death of the younger Wyatt daughter, Wanda Wyatt. We received a tour... More

For about the cost of a large coffee in the States you can receive admission to step inside the Wyatt house and a step back in time. Our tour guide, Sabrina, introduced us to this intriguing Victorian family in such a way that we felt as though we too were members of this community a century ago, watching this intriguing... More

Well preserved example of old Summerside. Docents are VERY knowledgeable and if you are only 2 or 3 people, not rushed. Take a few moments to also tour the Admin building a house or two over. If you like older houses, this is great.

We enjoyed the tour of this historic home. Wanda Wyatt lived her whole life in this home. It was fun to step back in time and learn about this spunky Summerside woman.

It was amazing to see all the artifacts in this house that are still intact. You really feel like you are stepping back in time. It is so well preserved. Interesting tour. Highly recommend.

The kids camps in the summer are superb and great for visitors as they can do just a couple hours while you golf! The staff are amazing !! Come in the fall for the Ghost Walk or have them create something special for your group...like a flashight tour that will scare you more than any pretend haunted house!!

The Visitors Guide said it was open one more day. The Visitors Center at the Bridge said it was open. When I arrived on the last day of the season, I found the museum locked. A person at the neighboring house said I was supposed to call first. The museum was closed already. I ended up buying a brochure and... More

I recently had made plans to visit Wyatt House, which is part of the Wyatt Heritage Properties, in Summerside, PEI. I was very pleasantly surprised to find that for my just over $7 admission (the rate quoted on the website is a little out of date) included not only the Wyatt House, but also the MacNaught History Centre & Archives... Found out about this location while searching online for things to do in Summerside. I highly recommend this for anyone who likes Victorian architecture. First, you stop at the McNaught house across the street corner, to pay for your entrance. While waiting for your tour guide to arrive, you can browse this house and even be guided by one of... More
