The hall was nice enough, but you really have to go there for a lobster roll. My son and I set out in search of the best and this was it. Tried many to find it! Also, next door there is a chip shack that makes very good fries. Their lobster roll, while inexpensive, just didn't quite cut it, but... More

The small museum was worth a visit - really enjoyed it and found Canada's pre-Confederation history very interesting.

Founders' Hall is a quick walk-through experience where you learn about the founding of Canada and the addition of its provinces and territories. While it's well laid out and pitches at a good level of information, the attraction itself does seem a little cheesy and there's nothing truly historic remaining at the site itself. Kids will like it but I'm... More

The information was presented in a fun and interesting way. It's a spoof TV newscast from the 1864 Charlottetown Conference. My issue was more with the technology. There is no reason why I should be hearing static in the headphones in between stations or have to wonder if I'm at the right spot or facing the right direction for the... More

Staff were very friendly and our stop here for 45 mns was very much worth it. We learnt so much about our History and about the 33 people involved in the first confederation meeting at Charlottetown. Found it fascinating!!!

A very fun and informative attraction! Going through confederation as a time travel tunnel is a ver great way to engage children and adults in a major piece of history? Reasonably priced and a must see!

Cruise ship passengers and others new to town might want to make Founders Hall their first stop. Just a short distance from the dock, it has lots of free information about attractions in the city and the province and is the starting point for some tours. There is also a cafe and rest rooms are available.

Our cruise arrived and we had not planned any shore activities. We went to the Founders Hall and found Kaylie to be both very helpful and very patient. She recommended several activities she thought we would enjoy and explained them to us. We decided on a horse drawn carriage tour and we were not disappointed. We did not take in... More

I would recommend the Founders Hall for families with kids. As adults interested in Confederation, we were impressed by the sets that were used to portray the information, however the videos used throughout the hall were set up as TV broadcasts (i.e. breaking news bulletins). They were generally thin on details and we often stood there after a video segment... More
