This attraction in downtown Charlottetown has been closed for the past 2 summers. The funding to keep it operational ran out and the cost to bring it up to a more interactive level was not available, so there was no choice but to close it down. In all honesty, it wasn't a half bad attraction for the first few years... More

Given the richness of the PEI cultural heritage and history, this museum could have provided a lot more substance than it did. Having said that, the information that was provided was done in an entertaining and fun format. I would suggest that the museum reconsider the wi-fi approach; unless you stood in a particular spot, the headphones for the audio... More

This museum is exceptional; the audio tour really added to our experience with the interactive exhibits. The displays were well done; we learned so much about the history of Canada. Parking may be a problem, however.

Fun interactive trip through the history of the founding of our country. The whole family enjoyed the experience, and the gift shop had great items at reasonable prices (probable because we were out of season)

My husband and I were quite impressed by how creatively the story of establishing the country of Canada was told. The museum was easy to traverse, quite informative and very entertaining. Near-by, one can visit the historic Province House, the actual building where the Charlottetown Conference took place.

A video and display presentation tells the story of the "birth" of Canada, starting with the Charlottetown Conference of 1864. It is user-friendly and self-paced. We learned a lot about the history of Canada in a interesting format injected with humour.

The concept of going back in time with a TV news crew and live "look-in" shots was well done. The headsets are quirky, but overall you get the feel of the importance of the Charlottetwon conference and the pivitol role it played in the creation of a united Canada. Coming from the US, it was extremely educational.

Founders Hall was a starred attraction in our AAA tour guide book and it was definitely worth the visit. It was informative and used the latest technology to present in an interesting way how Canada became a nation.
