A very fun and informative attraction! Going through confederation as a time travel tunnel is a ver great way to engage children and adults in a major piece of history? Reasonably priced and a must see!

Cruise ship passengers and others new to town might want to make Founders Hall their first stop. Just a short distance from the dock, it has lots of free information about attractions in the city and the province and is the starting point for some tours. There is also a cafe and rest rooms are available.

Our cruise arrived and we had not planned any shore activities. We went to the Founders Hall and found Kaylie to be both very helpful and very patient. She recommended several activities she thought we would enjoy and explained them to us. We decided on a horse drawn carriage tour and we were not disappointed. We did not take in... More

I would recommend the Founders Hall for families with kids. As adults interested in Confederation, we were impressed by the sets that were used to portray the information, however the videos used throughout the hall were set up as TV broadcasts (i.e. breaking news bulletins). They were generally thin on details and we often stood there after a video segment... More

We walked in not having planned out our trip to Charlottetown very well. They had tons of pamphlets and were able to talk about several of the local events that weekend, which was helpful. We also took the self-guided tour (with a recorded 'guide') and learned a lot from it. The headsets had a bit of a 'wow factor' since... More

The staff was very helpful in planning our time in Charlottetown. The information centre closes relatively early, so if you have questions or are looking for guides/pamphlets, keep that in mind.

This attraction in downtown Charlottetown has been closed for the past 2 summers. The funding to keep it operational ran out and the cost to bring it up to a more interactive level was not available, so there was no choice but to close it down. In all honesty, it wasn't a half bad attraction for the first few years... More

Given the richness of the PEI cultural heritage and history, this museum could have provided a lot more substance than it did. Having said that, the information that was provided was done in an entertaining and fun format. I would suggest that the museum reconsider the wi-fi approach; unless you stood in a particular spot, the headphones for the audio... More

This museum is exceptional; the audio tour really added to our experience with the interactive exhibits. The displays were well done; we learned so much about the history of Canada. Parking may be a problem, however.

Fun interactive trip through the history of the founding of our country. The whole family enjoyed the experience, and the gift shop had great items at reasonable prices (probable because we were out of season)
