A serpentine journey through this museum takes you through the history of the creation of the country of Canada as we know it. From the struggles (wars) between the British and the French to the negotiations creating the federation of the provinces into the Dominion of Canada in 1867, we learned a tremendous amount of information that we didn't know... The founding of Canada and its connection to England is pretty confusing to non-natives. The way the information was presented here was informative and easy to understand... Entertaining too!! Some of the video elements need an update, but overall was really good.

Really enjoyed this tour found it very educational and enjoyable. I do wish it was available to children out west in schools even by film! Could also have more info on AB/SK.

Short walk from the cruise ship terminal, Founders Hall offers a information area, museum of Canadian history, and a souvenir shop. Several visitors were posing with the large, painted red, year date "2015," on the outside lawn.

We happened upon Founders Hall during a first time walk in downtown Charlottetown. Bonus! Staff in gift shop were very helpful with advice on sight seeing drives we wanted to take. I was able to purchase souvenirs for my grandchildren here at a reasonable price.......saved me a trip to Anne of Green Gables that I really didn't want to take.... More

The museum (though it's more of an entertainment) is very well done. The idea of a 21st century reporter being in situ to report on the 19th century conference that lead to the founding of Canada, is clever and works well. It is clear, informative and holds your attention. Definitely recommended.

As a 54 year old I enjoyed the revisited history lesson. It was sometimes a bit difficult to get the headphones lined up

A sad and embarrassing tribute to the formation of canada. The technology is spotty at best. The color, sound and look of this exhibit is dated at best. Seriously, tube TVs. ? When I saw this when it opened, many years back, I thought it was clever. Now I'm disappointed. No attempt to keep it good repair or even current.... More
