Great for the kids!

My 8 y/o enjoyed this trip. Was great for him to see some of the historical sites that we normally wouldn't have. Our guide was great and knowledgeable!

The Charlottetown, PEI Harbour Hippo water bus is just about the most fun you can have in the water and not get wet; the niftiest views of the highlights of the downtown old city so you can plan your leisurely city walk about. I've ridden the Harbour Hippo and the Hippopotabuso and both are excellent entertainment and great fun..pick one... More

We have been on the Harbour Hippo in Charlottetown and Harbour Hopper in Halifax and neither disappoint. The kids especially love it. The seats are not the most comfortable and the price is a bit high, but it is such a unique experience that it outweighs the cost. Guides are interactive and entertaining. Be sure to buy your tickets early... More

We did this in July 2013 and came again in August 2014, both kids were begging for it... It is quite nice to visit the city without having to drive (or walk for hours), gives you an idea where you can go later and explore some more what you liked best during the tour. For kids it was just pure... More

This is a enjoyable attraction for young and old. I would tell anyone who has not tried this to do so. It is also fun for the Kinder Garden field trips I am told.

We had a great experience on my birthday in August. The tour guide and booth attendant were great sports. They sang me happy birthday and were very welcoming. We really enjoyed ourselves!

We went on the tour bus today and it was absolutely wonderful. The tour guide was a local woman who really knew the city. We came across a fox which was on someones lawn and she was able to tell us all about the foxes and skunks and how they got to P.E.I. She was a great guide and made... More

Tour guide was awful. She was very uninteresting. The tour itself was mostly around the residential areas of Charlottetown and glossed over major attractions and historical places. As bus tours go, this was the worst I've ever been on. Hope it gets better.

My 3 and 6 year old were so excited to go on the Hippopotabus only to arrive for the tour and find that they weren't sure if they were going to run because there were not enough people. I was told to wait to see if anyone would show up but 20 minutes later the bus pulled away and we... More

Went in the tour to explore this area. We had a good time and learned about the city. Tour was educational and Brandon knew and was proud to show off his city. As far as the water part, we basically just did a loop around the bay. It would be been great to get closer and see more. Especially for... More
