We toured the cows creamery the 2nd week of August. Having had Cows ice cream while on vacation in Banff several years ago, the tour was a great way to get the history and understand the production process. The samples and the ice cream were fabulous, and the tour fun

There are Cow's Ice Cream stores all over Charlottetown. Why do you go to the Cow's Factory? Not for the ice cream that you could get in town.....but for the ice cream tour. Well be warned if you go after 2 pm, you can pay $5 per adult for a tour but it is a tour of making their logo... More

This is at the headquarters location just outside of Charlottetown. You get to see where they make the iconic t-shirts, where they make the ice cream, and where they store the cheese they've made. You probably don't actually get to see them make the t-shirts, nor ice cream and definitely not the cheese. Although, they do show you 4 short... More

We planned to visit this even before starting our vacation as a must see sight. Disappointed to learn that they only make Ice Cream 3 days a week, and of course today wasn't one of them. They told use they still showed things, which was a bunch of videos, and them printing their over-priced t-shirts. The kids liked the tour... More

A lot of fun not very expensive and very interesting. They show you the making of the shirts to the ice cream and the cheese. Little Samples were provided along the way. A great experience. Thank you

For 5$ you get to sample cow chips (which are actually pretty gross to me but people seem to love them), cheddar cheese and ice cream. They also show their t-shirt screening room, ice cream production (which was very interesting to watch) and cheese aging room. Lots of poorly scripted videos and a very over expressive tour guide made the... More

We did the tour on a Saturday and I think it would be better during the week when people are working. It was neat to see t-shirts being made though. However the free samples were yummy and it was very informative. But I think the entrance fee is quite high, especially since the majority of people end up spending money... More

We really enjoyed eating Cow's ice cream on our holiday to Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. It deserves the long queues which form at its outlets! We took advantage of the tour of the factory. As it happened we were too late to see ice cream being made. I rather enjoyed the detailed descriptions of the process and information... More

We were looking forward to the tour of the ice cream factory. We unfortunately only managed to join one of the last tours of the day, so, T-shirt printing was still on, but no ice cream production :( Although short, the guide was informative and not too pushy on selling their stuff. It would have been nice to try a... More

First night here we wandered into the store on the wharf and fell in love with the tee shirts. As a pun-filled family, we were very tickled with the clever spin. Then the ice cream. As Bostonians, big ice cream fans, and this was comparable with some of the best we've tried at home. HAD to go to the Creamery... More
