The tour covers the basics of the operation but is not very detailed. The history of COWS Creamery is interesting. And then the ice cream...it truly is the best ice cream I've ever had. It was worth almost 2000 miles (one-way) of driving!

Excellent, creamy and delicious ice cream, tour was self guided, short and sweet. Very comical and colourful cow t-shirts.

I really struggled with rating this one. I knew that it was a self-guided tour going in, but this was really a nothing - we saw a few empty rooms - no real description of what goes on or anything like that. To be fair - the gift shop is huge, the ice cream is great. We went back all... More

This all seemed a little underwhelming. We were really excited to see and learn about the process in which the ice cream is made. The first area is all about how they make the shirts. The second area showed how they add flavour to the ice cream and the third area had a video about the cheese with a glass... More

The ice-cream is lovely and they make the waffle cones as you watch. The cheese is great too and it's good to know it's all locally sourced and produced. The shop has some funny cow / moo / udder pun related merchandise (mostly tee-shirts) which make great novelty gifts. Unfortunately the tour isn't actually a tour... It's a viewing gallery... More

While we didn't go on the dairy tour, we definitely stopped at the ice cream bar! The ice cream was delicious and the choices were many and unique! Definitely worth a stop!

I was disappointed by the self guided tour after we watched a short film on the Cows brand we watched 2 guys make a pail of ice cream and looked into a storage room for blocks of cheese. They have a silkscreen press on sight for making shirts and I really didn't see that as part of a creamery tour?... More

We called ahead to ask when the tours were held; self guided from 10am-8pm. Upon our arrival, we saw a short video, 1 man making a t-shirt, a machine folding shirts and dark room full of cheese wheels... our 2 kids were very disappointed we didn't see ice cream being made and so were we. There is a lot of... More

We arrived just before closing but were welcomed by the staff as if they were just opening. The ice cream was as good as promised and we left with several "udderly" cute shirts.
