Great for children

We stopped in on our way home. It was busy, but we did get an ice cream. Great to go if you have children.

We arrived just before closing but were welcomed by the staff as if they were just opening. The ice cream was as good as promised and we left with several "udderly" cute shirts.

Fun place to stop. Self guided tour is interesting and doesn't take a lot of time out of your day. Love the shirts and a great opportunity to enjoy excellent ice cream!

Great place to visit and tour the facility. The whole concept has gotten very commercial but they have not forgotten how to make the tastiest ice cream treats. Definitely worth a number of visits if you are in PEI.

My friends and family took me on the cows ice cream factory tour in north river. On my birthday a few years ago. I've since gone numerous times when I have company. It was lots of fun. And smelt amazing and was very interesting. There were quizzes so everyone won a small gift or momento from cows. I won a... More

We had a wonderful time at COWS. Aside from learning many things on the tour, we indulged in a cone and bought several creatively funny items at the gift shop. Great and yummy fun for the whole family. Oh, and don't forget to take your picture with the gigantic cow outside. ;-)

As always, loved the creamery. Unique look into what goes into making the t-shirts, ice cream, butter, and cheese. Love the personal connections they added to their exhibits. Gift ship is a decent size too, providing lots of different Cows and PEI merch.

The tours end at 8, but production ends at 4 so get to the store before 4 if you want the tour. Otherwise: staff is friendly, products are clever and attractive (and make great gifts!), and the ice cream is -of course- incredible. Highly recommend Wowie Cowie.

I expected a more intimate tour from what I had read - hairnets, etc but instead I had a walled off self-guided tour of a basically empty factory (except for two guys doing something with the screen printing equipment). Videos are ok, displays are ok. Ice cream is great and the store is full of nifty t-shirts. Soon got over... More
