We went on tour October 10th with Bill. He did wonderful job giving us insight into the history, answered many questions about the area. Also led us through the streets to try out quite a variety of foods! We learned about the fishing industry as we tasted oysters, later mussels. The local treats of chocolate covered potato chips, the ice... More

Thanks very much for your praise of our Taste the Town tour. Bill and our other guides do a great job of combining their passion for PEI with the great foods and beverages we have on the Island. It's a real treat for us to hear from clients who've had a great experience and want to come back. More

I really loved this tour, I learn a lot on lobsters, also I really loved Poffertjes, the chocolate dipped potato chips and most of the places on the tour. Our guide was very helpful and was really open to suggestions. This only thing that I like less was tasting olive oil and balsamic vinegar directly from a cup, personally with... More

We're pleased you enjoyed our Taste the Town Tour. We'll pass along your suggestion about having some bread available for the olive oil/balsamic vinegar tasting. They have had bread there in the past and may just not had it available that day. You're right about the poffertjes mini-Dutch pancakes...they're amazing! More

When visiting Charlottetown recently while on vacation, we took the Taste of the Town walking tour and we had a great time! It is a lot of fun and one learns some historical facts along the way. We started the tour with a taste of raw oysters and learned about lobsters, then on to the All Things Olive store, where... More

Taste the Town is a walking tour in downtown Charlottetown that is supposed to highlight the different foods and specialties in the area. For the price it's okay, but not great. The best part of the tour is at the Lobster restaurant where you go first; I found the owner of this place to be very engaging and informative, almost... More

We're sorry to hear you found Taste the Town "just okay." We certainly strive to be considerably above just okay and as you'll see from our other reviews we regularly exceed our clients expectations. Clearly we fell short the day you went on our tour and for that we apologize. Our tour guide, Bill has been complimented by other reviewers... More

You can't have more fun, in my opinion, than to combine history and food. This tour was MARVELOUS! Partly it was so great because of our expert tour guide, Betty. We found her extremely well versed in the local history and with a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. It was such a relaxing time the hours melted away.... More

I booked this tour semi-last minute, having found it on a flyer at the visitor's center just over the Confederation Bridge. I am SO GLAD I did! This was seriously the best way to experience Charlottetown. It's almost like a two-for-one tour--you get a bit of history and architecture information along with an understanding of the lay of the land--and... More
