Although the tour has some interesting stops and some good food samples in some of the local businesses.... I would never recommend this tour! Our guide was Bill. Bill rambles on with needless information. He takes so long to get to the point, you can't focus long enough to hear his actual point! Boring, drug on for 3 hours, and... More

We're terribly disappointed you felt our tour guide, Bill was rambling and boring. As you can see from past reviews other people who took his tour found him extremely knowledgeable and passionate about Prince Edward Island. I'm also sorry to hear you developed a throat inspection however it is unlikely you got it from the lobster pound which is not... More

I love food and got to taste plenty of it on this tour! Richard was awesome. Enthusiastic, knowledgeable, helpful. And he sure knows where to eat in town! There is so much good food in PEI, so you don't want to miss the best. Be sure to take this tour!

Our first full day in Charlottetown start with this tour. Our guide was Corinne and she was a great guide full of information. This was a fantastic into to the harbour front area and a quick bit of history as well. Well worth it.

We took this tour on our first day in Charlottetown. It was a good introduction to that city, and we ended up returning to several of the restaurants that we visited. We sampled raw oysters (a little difficult at 9 a.m., but they sure were fresh!), lobster tacos, mussels, olive oil, potato vodka, locally-brewed beer, and AMAZING hand-cut fries. It... More

We just stayed on PEI for 2 weeks and loved it. The food is great, lobster to die for. Clams, mussels, scallops. Just eat, eat, eat. Cows ice cream is great, do try the salted caramel. The list goes on ...Anne of Green Gable chocolate, PEI preserves, ( great but expensive). There are potatoes everywhere and they make the most... More

We're really pleased you enjoyed our great Island seafood and our Taste the Town tour. We would just like to point out that Experience PEI doesn't offer the lobster potato chips as part of our tour nor are we the company that makes the chips. We would never suggest someone has no taste buds just because they don't like something. More

A pleasurable morning! Richard was thoughtful, humorous, and helpful. He shared history of Charlottetown as well as of the places we visited. I recommend this experience to anyone who has only a day or so to spend, as it gives a good overview of an interesting city.

Not to be missed! Even though it rained for the whole tour we had a fantastic time. Bill our tour guide provided us with a large umbrella and the time you were outside was only a short time. My husband has mobility problems but the walk in between stops was short and there were places to sit. Some stairs but... More

We really enjoyed our tour with Bill, who was very knowledgeable about the city and the history. One of the aspects I enjoyed the most was the relationships he seemed to have with the restaurants and shops we visited, and the opportunity we had to hear from the chefs and employees themselves. That isn't something I've seen much of on... More

Thanks very much for your positive review. We agree....Bill is a great tour guide with lots of local knowledge to share and we're really pleased you enjoyed meeting our food providers. You're absolutely right....it's a tasting tour. People aren't going to be full or drunk at the end of it because it's designed to give visitors a sampling of the... More

This walking tour of Charlottetown takes you to several locations where you sample local food and enjoy a guided tour of the city's historical sites. It is a three-hour tour where you sample various foods . We sampled oysters, muscles, seafood chowder, and sampled several different olive oils. All in all a most enjoyable and educational experience
