We spent 3 days on PEI and this was a great first thing to do in Charlottetown. We got a decent tour of the city, some historical context of various buildings and landmarks, and some good food samples along the way. Our tour started at 9:30 and ended at about noon. Since we are moderate eaters, we did not come... More

Nice to learn about mussles and lobsters but most places could otherwise go on own. Get and do more. Disappointed as went to import olive oil n vinegar place have at home. They totally didn't include a taste at Cows ice cream highly ranked and started there. Could have added a little more of blueberry and even another brewery or... More

Thanks very much for your comments regarding our Taste the Town tour. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Your criticism seems to centre on the beer tasting portion of the tour. Since this is a "tasting" tour, we advise participants they aren't going to be full or drunk at the end of the tour. We offer a good size... More

Our family of ten took this tour as part of a ship tour. It was excellent, and showed us a number of outstanding places for great food. Our guide, Paul, gave us a great orientation to the town and its history. We would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was educational as well as fun. You get to try many different "tastes" of the island from mussels, to fries, to lobster to craft beer all the while learning about PEI. Loved it.

The tour guide was lovely and you got a leisurely walk around Charlottetown and got to try some good bites. You won't be full after this but you will get to try oysters, mussels, lobster tacos, fries, a selection of olive oil, and beer.

A culinary tour should be led by a foodie. The guide not a foodie, but was a historian, and he focused more on the history of PEI and its buildings than on the food culture there. The tour included one place that imported all its items and had no connection to PEI at all. A culinary tour should show you... More

Thanks for your comments about our Taste the Town tour. We're certainly sorry you were disappointed with aspects of the tour. It's always a challenge meeting people's expectations and that was clearly the case here. We describe the tour on our website as appealing to both foodies and history buffs. Great driver ,informative and funny. We booked with our tour guide Wonda and picked us from the terminal on time. The day we spent with him was comfortable, interesting and learning experience. Every questions we asked Wonda had an answer for. his knowledge of the island is amezing.

I was left with a highly favorable impression of PEI because of the graciousness of the people, exemplified by tour guide and the individuals he introduced us to who owned and/or operated the food establishments we visited. The background information and history provided enhanced the experience of tasting the various food samples on the walk (see submitted photos). After three... More

Thanks for such a complimentary review Camille. We're glad you chose the tour as a shore excursion during the visit of the Holland America Maasdam to Charlottetown. Your guide, Bill loves to share his passion for Prince Edward Island and show visitors some of the great food and drink we have here. We hope you'll someday return and experience more... More

This culinary walking tour of Charlottetown was terrific. Our guide was well informed and fun. The stops were varied, food and drink interesting and very good. We really enjoyed this delightful city and spent time after the tour walking around and shopping. I usually don't care for mussels but now that I've had PEI mussels and know the difference I... We're glad to hear you had a fun time on our Taste the Town tour....and delighted to hear you have now become a "mussel convert". You're unlikely to find better mussels anywhere than those we produce here so you'll have to ask for Island Blue Mussels at your favourite seafood restaurant or market at home. Also glad to hear you... More
