The tour itself was enjoyable, with stops at a couple of local haunts and watering holes, plus a nice visit to the olive oil/balsamic vinegar bar. However, easily the best part of the tour was our guide, Paul. Very knowledgeable, passionate and humourous. Doing his own research and offering relevant anecdotes further enhanced the experience. Thanks, Paul!

Thanks very much for letting us know how much you enjoyed our Taste the Town Tour...and in particular our tour guide Paul. You'd never know this was Paul's first year as a guide. He loves meeting new people and sharing his passion for the Island. He'll appreciate your praise. More

We have been in a number of food tours around the world, and this one didn't live up to expectations. Overall tour was a good mix of food and local history, and had quite an interesting mix of people participating. The guide also pointed us to several places that weren't on the tour but we returned too later and were... More

We're certainly pleased to hear you enjoyed the mix of food and local history on our tour but disappointed you felt it didn't live up to your expectations. We make it very clear at the outset of our tour it is a "tasting" tour and that people shouldn't expect to be full at the end. If participants come expecting it... More

Very nice tour giving some history and orientation to Charlottetown. Includes sample tastes from several local establishments. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the City and it's history.

Wow, where does one start! First off, Bill our tour guide was the best. A very knowledgeable and passionate guy. Easily to tell he loves his town and has much pride in it. The tour he provided was absolutely hands down one of the best we've done. The food stops were great, but the education we received was so much... More

We were looking forward to culinary tastings of eateries in Charlottetown. However, were very disappointed in this two and half hour tour. It was all talk by the guide and very little in the way of tastings. We found ourselves standing with the group on street corners in the hot sun being talked at about history at length. Within the... We are certainly sorry to hear you were unhappy with our Taste the Town tour. Since I was not on the specific tour you were on it is hard for me to confirm you spent an hour and a half with only 2 samplings. Because it is a walking tour, the distance between tasting venues can take 10-15 minutes to... More

We spent 3 days on PEI and this was a great first thing to do in Charlottetown. We got a decent tour of the city, some historical context of various buildings and landmarks, and some good food samples along the way. Our tour started at 9:30 and ended at about noon. Since we are moderate eaters, we did not come... More

Nice to learn about mussles and lobsters but most places could otherwise go on own. Get and do more. Disappointed as went to import olive oil n vinegar place have at home. They totally didn't include a taste at Cows ice cream highly ranked and started there. Could have added a little more of blueberry and even another brewery or... More

Thanks very much for your comments regarding our Taste the Town tour. We're sorry we didn't meet your expectations. Your criticism seems to centre on the beer tasting portion of the tour. Since this is a "tasting" tour, we advise participants they aren't going to be full or drunk at the end of the tour. We offer a good size... More

Our family of ten took this tour as part of a ship tour. It was excellent, and showed us a number of outstanding places for great food. Our guide, Paul, gave us a great orientation to the town and its history. We would highly recommend this tour.

This tour was educational as well as fun. You get to try many different "tastes" of the island from mussels, to fries, to lobster to craft beer all the while learning about PEI. Loved it.
