Planned to stay here actually, but because of its high price, I stayed elsewhere. However, with its unique design and beautiful beach and scenery, how could we not go there? A very nice drive there with lots to see. It would be nice to stroll along the beach as well. Worth a trip there. May be next time I will... More

My friend and i went up in this lighthouse!!! We had read that only 9 lighthouses on PEI are open to the public. We saw all 9 of them. This one was my favourite...I LOVE stairs!!! Each flight of stairs got steeper......it was amazing!!! Unfortunately....we didn't get to stay in the B&B there, but LOVED the light!! did try to... More

Warmer water, beautiful beach to walk and collect sea glass. Great place to dig for clams. The lighthouse is beautiful but you have to pay to go on the top of it. The stairs leading to it can scare children off. It was the most beautiful lighthouse I have seen in the maritimes, and it has an Inn there where... More

We have visited this back in 2008 and really enjoyed the museum and view from the top. As I recall it was not a taxing hike up to the top. It is still in decent shape, but we got there after it closed on our trip to the north cape. There is a very nice view from the top of... More

we stayed in the main lighthouse tower B&B and the experience is one of a kind !! looking through the window while you are sleeping on your bed and all you see is the red sand beach and the ocean ! then you can climb up the light house and have a 360 degree view of the surrounding. it is... More

Great stop if you're doing all or part of the North Cape Coastal Drive. The red sand, water, and lighthouse views were beautiful. My husband and I traveled to this spot in the off-season, mid-October with our miniature dachshund. While exploring the coastline we only bumped into one other couple. It was a peaceful outing! It appeared that during the... More

For a family of four, we paid $10 for entry to see the lighthouse museum which permits you to climb the 72 steps to the top of the lighthouse. Definitely worth it for the beautiful views (but use common sense - dont go when it's cloudy/rainy). Note: we drove here planning to also stop at the restaurant but as the... More

The inn (hotel?) is very nice, newly renovated, the rooms are comfortable, a good size, and have private balconies with a great view of the sea. Great place for a walk on the beach, which goes on forever and starts a few steps from the inn door. Breakfast is so-so, few choices, toaster not working when we went (brand-new place,... More

We stayed for a night in the Tower room right in the lighthouse. Definitely a unique experience. The room was very well done and spotless, with a great ensuite with shower and standalone bath tub. Does take a while for the water to run hot, but then it probably wasn't in the original plumbing plans! (And it gets there eventually)... More

The rooms are very attractive, and well kept. The Staff are friendly and the museum is quite informative and certainly a sight to see at the very top, I give only 4 stars because 5 dollars per adult for the museum is a bit high. I can't comment on the food, but It is a good place to stay for... More
