This park is my favourite in Windsor. It brings tons of memories to me. It is particularly calm and more quiet than other parks. It also gives that best scene of the other bank in Detroit.

As we walked along the waterfront would stop here and have coffee or water and it was very pleasant and so clean and well maintained.

This is a great park to walk through along the path. The view is great along the water. There are also sculptures along the way and playgrounds for the children so it is family friendly.

I can't tell if Assumption Park and Sculpture Park are the same, but then when I think about it I don't really care... I'm going to show you pictures from the walk I took in this area near the Ambassador Bridge. It's nice actually, well not all of them. Some of the statues and sculptures look silly, but a few... Assumption Park is just the beginning of this 3 mile recreational park trail system along the riverfront in Windsor. It starts out under the Ambassador Bridge through a spectacular sculpture garden of large scale sculptures. Then transforms to a more formal botanical garden setting with a small bistro, memorials and history plaques. The Spirit of Windsor, a 1911 Steam locomotive,... More

My husband and I often visit Ambassador Park for many different reasons. Many times it is for lunch at the river. I like to make our lunch and bring it and sit in the car in the winter and watch the ice flows or the boats pass by. There are always people walking or running for exercise or parents with... More

This park attaches to other parks via the Detroit river; very safe and very clean. Spend the day and have a picnic. No barbecues though.

This Area is part of the Windsor sculpture Gardens. Very well maintained, safe and always lots of people, but not packed! Beautiful place to picnic as well!... More

This park follows the riverfront and has several small playgrounds and sculptures that my kids enjoyed playing on/around. We had roller blades and a scooter for a nice 1 mile walk/ride. There were many couples and families our for a walk after dinner before sunset. There is a great view of the Detroit skyline and the Ambassador bridge.
