The park like atmosphere with its superb walking trails, delightful scenery, especially in the Fall and a perfect nature center, set up with displays and interactive stations for kids to play and learn about the environment around them we saw owls nesting in a tree which was a bonus on our visit.

This is a natural habitat of species of animal, plants, trees, reptiles and bugs. Wear long pants and sleeves. Ticks inhabit the nature trail. Bring a camera. While walking a cross a bridge over a ravine i walked into a young deer. It was as tall as me and momma was standing near by. It was a beautiful site.

Very fun for kids and adults alike for a nice nature walk with lots of deer roaming around. Fall colours are wonderful and the nature centre has some interesting exhibits. Just a nice place to have a picnic or just walk around with a coffee and enjoy the outdoors.

One of our favourite outings is packing a picnic and heading out to Ojibway. There are lots of tables (many in the shade) and the new visitor centre is excellent (and spotlessly clean) with washrooms, water fountain, small store, exhibits (including some live reptiles), rental rooms (which we did in the past with a nature guide and our kids loved... Ojibway Nature Centre is absolutely unique in that it preserves the natural beauty of our local area of which there is very little left to enjoy. Endangered and at risk species of plant, reptile, insects. Visit the Ojibway Prairie opposite too. The staff are helpful whilst the new nature centre has exhibits to view and for the children to touch... More

You don't have to go far in Windsor to get away from all the city lights. On Matchette Road in west Windsor there is this fantastic nature park. You can hike the paths through the woods and observe all kinds of wild life. There is also a building you can go into and learn about the animals, plants and have... More

Visit the nature center to see different types of wood and compare them. This is a good way to kill some time for free.

Travelled to Windsor for the Spring bird migration and after spending the day at Point Pelee, I wanted somewhere close by for late afternoon walks, and Ojibway fit the bill in spades. The trails are well groomed, clearly marked and the staff both knowledgeable and helpful. The live snake exhibit inside the Centre fascinates children and adults alike and the... More

Nice pavilion, trails and photo ops. Wildlife abounds, everything from birds to deer. Wheelchair accessible and plenty of parking.
