As a visitor from the Deep South of the US, I wondered what places I would find to take photos on my business trip to Windsor Ontario in January. This is a beautiful well laid out park. And after snow, it was also very easy to maneuver that to clearing efforts by the park. The beauty of the trees, little... More

The city of Windsor has begun covering their parks with 10-12 foot wide asphalt pathways in order to allow garbage trucks to drive through them. They say it's about wheelchair accessibility, but what kind of wheelchair needs a 10 foot wide path?!?!?!?!?!? Anyway, they have not paved the really nice parts of Jackson park yet, but at least one city... More

This place is wonderful for photo shoots, day walks and sight seeing. It has a bad night time rep so STAY AWAY when it gets dark. Other than that, I love coming to this park for pictures and walks.

Love this park, the gardens are beautiful and don't miss out on the world war plans at the back of the gardens

Haven't seen a ton of development in the park over the years but it's always a pretty cool spot to hang out. Gotta go at least once if you're in the area.

Both my dog & I enjoy long walks though this manicured park, especially during fall. The trails are just long enough to get a fair amount of exercise while being short enough to not tire you. The airplanes on display are a beautiful art display that adds to the overall historical theme that this park possesses. If you haven't visited... More

One of Windsor's oldest parks with plenty of history. The gardens in spring a summer are just beautiful.the gates in the front have admitted hundreds of dignitaries and thousands of marching bands over the years. As you go through the gates you are adding to history with you presence. Into early fall the gardens are splendid. Worth a couple of... More
