Producers Lili and Brian Caws have been active members of Toronto's theatre...

Producers Lili and Brian Caws have been active members of Toronto's theatre community for over 35 years. They met at the Limelight Dinner Theatre where they began their professional theatre careers, Brian as a performer and Lili as Restaurant Manager. In 1987 they created Mysteriously Yours, and began developing their unique style of interactive murder mysteries at the prestigious Royal York Hotel. They've taken their troupe throughout Canada and the United States. Their mysteries have been performed as far away as Singapore. For 26 successful years, Mysteriously Yours... Has developed a repertoire of over 50 original mysteries. In October 1999, Lili and Brian came full circle as they proudly attended the opening of their smash hit Murder On The Limelight Express! In their own venue, the former Limelight Dinner Theatre, now known as Mysteriously Yours Mystery Dinner Theatre.

My husband and I attended Spy School!: Mission Ridiculous and had a great time. The actors were very funny, and we enjoyed sharing the table with another couple - it was the first time that we had all been there. I probably wouldn't go for the dinner part if I was to go back for another show - the food... More

We had a great time, the characters from the murder mystery will come and sit with your and as questions. They get audience participation. We had a great time. As for the food, I had the salmon and it was wonderful. My friend and others at the table had the beef (some way overpowering spice) no-one enjoyed the beef.

This is my second visit to Mysteriously Yours and both times were really great. Both visits were for our Board/Staff Xmas dinner. The service staff were great, very attentive and accommodating. The meals were really nice and the chef is from George Brown College. You have your choice of a soup or salad for you appetizer (I had the soup... More

Was on vacation in Toronto and booked this evening ahead of time - had never been to mystery dinner theatre...we did not participate in the dinner portion but did partake in the theatre and the first hour left us totally bored/confused and we were going to leave during intermission. We stayed and the only reason was that we were embarrassed... More

Hi SunGirl315! Thanks very much for your review. I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't find the murder mystery entertaining! It is a very fun concept but of course, every plot/setting doesn't suit every guest's taste so I understand how your mind could wander if you're not into the theme. We will be opening a brand new mystery on... More

We didn't quite know what to expect as there are mixed reviews of good and bad on Trip Advisor. My husband and I were delighted with the food and the entertainment. The venue has a great look, vibe and atmosphere. We found the table space a little bit squishy, but that's nothing to really complain about. The wait staff was... More

Hi petitecritique, Thanks so much for your review! We were so pleased to read that you enjoyed both the show and dinner. We change the menu with the show and the upcoming vegan option will be a fresh Summer Vegetable Paella with roasted chickpeas, artichokes, kalamata olives, and parsley served over saffron tomato rice simmered with sherry, peppers, garlic, and... I attended Mysteriously Yours on May 23rd 2015 for my friend's birthday. We were a group of 7 girls and we were seated at Table 7. We each paid for the dinner and show which included tip when we arrived. Our waitress was Leslie. She was miserable for the time we sat down. I don't know why she was so... More

To be honest most people would probably consider me to be a little "hard to please" when it comes to these theatre type events so please keep that in mind, especially if you're the type of person who laughs at pretty much everything. I took my partner to Mysteriously Yours, having been to this dinner theatre several times over the years. We were sat at a table with... More

The dinner was very good. The service for drinks was also very good. The actors played a number of roles and circulated through the audience, involving many of them in various ways. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
