Description: Producers Lili and Brian Caws have been active members of Toronto's...
Producers Lili and Brian Caws have been active members of Toronto's theatre community for over 35 years. They met at the Limelight Dinner Theatre where they began their professional theatre careers, Brian as a performer and Lili as Restaurant Manager. In 1987 they created Mysteriously Yours, and began developing their unique style of interactive murder mysteries at the prestigious Royal York Hotel. They've taken their troupe throughout Canada and the United States. Their mysteries have been performed as far away as Singapore. For 26 successful years, Mysteriously Yours... Has developed a repertoire of over 50 original mysteries. In October 1999, Lili and Brian came full circle as they proudly attended the opening of their smash hit Murder On The Limelight Express! In their own venue, the former Limelight Dinner Theatre, now known as Mysteriously Yours Mystery Dinner Theatre.

We didn't quite know what to expect as there are mixed reviews of good and bad on Trip Advisor. My husband and I were delighted with the food and the entertainment. The venue has a great look, vibe and atmosphere. We found the table space a little bit squishy, but that's nothing to really complain about. The wait staff was... More

Hi petitecritique, Thanks so much for your review! We were so pleased to read that you enjoyed both the show and dinner. We change the menu with the show and the upcoming vegan option will be a fresh Summer Vegetable Paella with roasted chickpeas, artichokes, kalamata olives, and parsley served over saffron tomato rice simmered with sherry, peppers, garlic, and... I attended Mysteriously Yours on May 23rd 2015 for my friend's birthday. We were a group of 7 girls and we were seated at Table 7. We each paid for the dinner and show which included tip when we arrived. Our waitress was Leslie. She was miserable for the time we sat down. I don't know why she was so... More

Went for my birthday last year and might go again. Not suitable for children, but a great night out! Very funny! Actors were hilarious. Food was good and would definitely recommend the Camembert.

To be honest most people would probably consider me to be a little "hard to please" when it comes to these theatre type events so please keep that in mind, especially if you're the type of person who laughs at pretty much everything. My review is on the "Getting Hitched an Engagement Party" dinner theatre and the rating is for... More

Hi pjwilk, Thank you for taking the time to write a review. First, we would like to apologize that the service was not up to your standards. We will be speaking to the waitstaff and management ahead of this Friday's show to address these concerns. The untimely service you've described is not usual or acceptable by our standards either so... More

I took my partner to Mysteriously Yours, having been to this dinner theatre several times over the years. It had a been a while since I had last gone, so I was a little surprised that the venue moved away from the original downtown core. We started the evening with our 3-course meal. We were sat at a table with... More

Hi SMO2015, Thanks for your review! I would like to clarify for anyone reading that the show we currently perform every Friday and Saturday evening is called "Getting Hitched!". The show you mention, "Uptown Abbey", was one of our favourites and its run ended in April 2014, although still available for private mysteries. Hope to see you again soon! Best... More

The dinner was very good. The service for drinks was also very good. The actors played a number of roles and circulated through the audience, involving many of them in various ways. There were a couple of unexpected things that patrons did that the actors quickly and smoothly included in the show and that added to the overall enjoyment and... More

Recently enjoyed the Getting Hitched dinner show. I wasn't sure what to expect...the food was better than I thought, not amazing but I definitely enjoyed my meal. The show was fun...characters/actors all good and very interactive throughout the evening. Very punny dialogue kept the audience entertained. I thought the evening erred on the long side. It might be better if... More

Three of my girlfriends and I went to the show to kick off my bachelorette evening. We opted not to have dinner at the venue as we were driving in from out of town and were not sure we would make it on time. We arrived for the show at 7:45 pm as requested and were greeted warmly. We paid... More

Hi smiche83! Thank you for your great and very accurate review! It sounds like the mandatory coat check was the only low point of your evening; the reason we do not include it in the ticket price is because not everyone will check a coat. Sometimes guests choose not to wear a coat or leave it in the car, for... More

Went to this restaurant/venue last night for the first time. Had a wonderful fun time with the family trying to figure out Whodunit - this is a dinner and a murder restaurant. Staying in Midtown

Neighborhood Profile
Midtown
Midtown is a dynamic part of Toronto with some of its most stylish high-rise residences and heritage buildings. The area sees busy shoppers with bag-laden arms balancing lattes in paper cups as they travel from one luxury brand to the next, taking advantage of the proximity of high-end shops. The reflecting pools, jogging trails, and nature treks of the Rosehill Revision are always a hub of outdoor activity, and after a workout from either running or splurging, many take advantage of the spas and massage parlors Midtown has to offer. Away from the bakeries, boutiques, and glamorous old theaters of the district's center, locals use the weekend to embrace the more suburban feel of Midtown's parks, tennis courts, outdoor markets, and the manicured grounds of Casa Loma, while families indulge the area's state-of-the-art playground and learning facilities. Of course, no high-brow district is complete without a healthy counter-culture: Midtown boasts some of the wildest street art and full-wall graffiti of any neighborhood in Toronto.
