Beautiful Sleeping Beauty

I saw Sleeping Beauty, it was very good, excellent costumes, beautiful sets and fabulous principal dancers, the others were not quite in sync but good.

Amazing show! I'm always so blown away by the talent at the ballet. The costumes and sets were great, the score was very well suited to the show, and the dancing was brilliant. The seating is also quite good, I think most of the seats at Four Seasons have a good view, including the standing room tickets (standing tickets can... More

This was such an awesome experience! My wife and I received free tickets to 'Alice's Adventures in Wonderland' Dress Rehearsal ballet. I've never been to a ballet before so I definitely wanted the experience! I wasn't sure what to expect. I have been through part of the facility before because it is linked to the Osgoode subway station which is... More

I love the National Ballet of Canada's performance of the Nutcracker! Always magical, and always takes me back to my visit to Russia. I have been waiting years to take my granddaughter, and this was the year....six years old and she said that the WHOLE performance was her favourite, she loved the costumes and that the night was magical. She... More

This ia a tradition for many families around this time of year. The production is always stunning and the music is wonderfully comforting and familiar. Kathy P. mentions that there isn't a bad seat in the house, and she is absolutely right. The best part of the production is watching the children who attend as they become mesmerized with the... Beautifully done! We sat in the grand ring and had a breathtaking few! Lots of families with children at the matinee performance. Some of the other ballet-goers were pretty snotty and rude though. Cute little gift shop, but expensive. Typical T.O prices for cocktails.

My daughter and I saw this ballet on December 23, 2014 at 5:30 p.m. We were seated in the Grand Ring. The seats were excellent. We have seen the performance many times before, and it never gets stale. The orchestra was superb. The dancing was great, with Sonia Rodrigues dancing as the Sugar Plum Fairy. She is so elegant and... More

I have been a patron of the National Ballet for many years and love it. The performances are top-notch and the costumes and dancers are exquisite. I love the Four Seasons as a venue from the pre-show and intermission bar service to the comfortable seats. Not a bad seat in the house. Very enjoyable I encourage people to take advantage... More

We recently attended the National Ballet of Canada presentation of Romeo and Juliet at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles. We were very impressed by the quality of the dancing, the acting, the scenery and the overall performance. Bravo

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
