Went on a Monday night ("Best of Second City") and it was a great decision! I laughed the entire time and thoroughly enjoyed every act. It was up there as one of the high-lights of our vacation!

This iconic comedy club certainly lived up to its reputation. From political satire to sports gags to improv to one liners, this 90 min show was well worth the price of admission. The actors were excellent, the skits well paced and the humour was hilarious. Every member of the troupe are to be congratulated on a fantastic show. The slant... More

We were staying at the Hyatt Regency on King St and received a 20% discount for tickets (except Saturdays). The hotel was only a parking lot away! We caught the "The Best of Second City" show and loved it! To be honest, I had never seen an improv show and didn't know what to expect. My fiance gave me the... More

I would highly recommend catching a show at Second City. We went to one of their Mainstage Revue shows - it was mostly written sketches. They were hit or miss but more hit than miss. The best part was the improv bit at the end - not your typical "suggestion from the audience" improv, it was more like the troupe... More

The location is great and the cast was super funny. I would definitely recommend this place for an easy night out. Tickets are relatively inexpensive, and an additional discount if you're a student. Food was also very good and decently priced for a venue. Different shows on different nights, would have gone back again if our stay had been longer!

The comedians on the main stage were top notch. Really, really funny! Worth the price of admission. There were a couple of jokes that require local knowledge, but, who hasn’t heard of Mayor Rob Ford by now? Our one disappointment was with the food. We ordered appetizers and it was pretty bad. Worse than frozen grocery food. IIRC the menu... More

Excellent show. My late teens, early twenties daughters loved it too. Very funny. Would definitely go again. HOWEVER, the food there is pretty bad. They could definitely improve things there. But there is a great gourmet Chinese restaurant in the Soho Met Hotel which is about 100 metres from Second City. $$$ .

We got last minute tickets at the door and were escorted up to a balcony seat - still very close to the action - perfect! Crowded space but wait staff is attentive and efficient. We saw the "Best of SC" show and it was hilarious from start to end. This is a really talented group and I hope they all... More

A terrific option for night out with a small or medium size group. Certainly the theatre packaged with the dinner makes it more enjoyable. The food service on its own might not create much excitement but it was decent enough with good service. The shows are generally very good and make for some good fun, enjoy!

Went to the 10:30pm Friday Best of Second City show and laughed almost the entire time. It was one of the better comedy shows I have seen. There were some twists that floored the crowd. Be prepared to be out very late. They ran the show itself and then came back on for an improv set with things not wrapping... More
