A superb cast of skilled comedic actors ... everyone on point with rapid-fire funny lines ... Not so much belly-laugh funny, but face-hurt funny ... GREAT SHOW !! (saw Click,Bait,&Switch). For best seating arrive EARLY and stand near the doors on left. . . seating is first come first served. We were 3rd row center and had great seats. Small... More

While this is not the same building that John Candy, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd, Gilda Radner, Rick Moranis, and Dave Thomas performed in, it carries the history well. Pictures all over the walls of the great past cast members of SC keep the spirit alive. I saw a show in the John Candy Box theatre on the 3rd floor. It... More

Our wait staff ambushed us at the washroom flailing the bill with 0 zero tip on it asking for why!! then she proceeded to flick us saying 15% is the norm. I wanted to talk to her manager but choose against it. He seemed so indifferent even though he saw his wait staff ambushing us. I had already spent about... More

Sorry to hear about your experience. While most of the seating is "first-come, first-seated", there are exceptions for large groups and those who purchase the VIP rail seating. I apologize if this was not adequately explained. As to your interactions with our server, we will certainly investigate. But as servers rely on serving you frequently for their income, it's puzzling... More

Just wanna let loose a little? Need a little break from Disney, Shakespeare, and Rogers and Hammerstein? Go no further. Pop by and for a a relatively few measly bucks, slake your thirst (a few finger foods are there), follow this motley crew as they wander their collective way through some decent material (and some on the border of indecent,... We loved every minute of the show - there is nothing bad to say about it (the box office is a different story but is not a reflection of the show). What a great, young group of talented performers. Not our first time and definitely not our last.

So glad you enjoyed the show. Distressed that you appear to have a complaint about our box office. Can you please forward your thoughts? We're always looking to make the customer experience better. Cheers. More

The relatives we were visiting are very involved with the arts scene in Toronto and decided that a night out at a classic Toronto icon would be worth while. Known for helping grow the careers of many Canadian Comic icons, we figured it would be an interesting idea. We've had bad luck with comedy clubs in the past - somehow... More

Laughed at numerous skits throughout a perfectly enjoyable evening. Long encore and a very friendly, helpful staff. Personnel are very good and give their all for a capacity house.

We purchased our tickets online a few days prior and chose the rail seats. There is a row of seats in front of the rail and then a higher row of chairs behind the rail. It is first come first serve but for us we thought our rail seats were quite good and had more room than the tables and... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
