We have been to Chicago's Second City and saw the touring group in Dallas, so decided to go again in Toronto. It was great. You are seated at small tables with others and very close to the stage. A great show. We laughed the entire time. A great way to spend 2 hours!

The acts were hilarious at John Candy's old stomping ground...what else can I say? The Second City wasn't well marked even during renovations, so I circled around a bit on foot--luckily, I'd parked my car right across the street in the best spot/lot. The Second City shares the same washroom or exit with Wayne Gretzky's Sports Bar, which is the... More

Hit the night out in downtown Toronto on a date, and the nothing better for a first date than a few laughs. I decided on Second City based on all the great reviews it's received throughout the net, not just TripAdvisor. I've been to several comedy clubs, but never attended an improv club before, so I was excited to see... More

We saw the show last night and my face is still sore from laughing so hard. This ensemble cast is fantastic. The skits are hilarious, the energy is off the charts and the impromptu work is brilliant. I went to Second City years ago to see John Candy, Eugene Levy, Joe Flaherty, Andrea Martin and Catherine O'Hara. This crew is... More

This show is funny, in a distinctly Canadian style. I would recommend anyone visiting Toronto, to come here and see for yourself.

I brought my parents when they were in town this summer, and we had a blast! Brought my sister and brother in law the next week when they were in town, and it was great again! Just make sure you get there early as some of the seats are pretty miserable.

Fun night, lots of laughs. I like the small cramped seating-reminds me of our simpler past. You can catch all the excitement from the stage. The audience interaction or reaction is part of the fun. Reminds me of our traditional Canadian venue nothing fancy- some drinks snacks and good entertainment! Great for families with teens and young adults.

We had never been to Second City and thought we would give it a try as we were in the City overnight. The acting was good and we did enjoy the show. We did not like the strange seating. We were two complete strangers although there were all kinds of vacant tables. The chairs were arranged in a way that... More

I've seen Second City before. This show was funny, but since we are not from the area we did not get all the joke references. The venue is horrible. Everyone is crammed in the room and sitting at these tiny tables. The show was not sold out this night, but it was still packed and I'm claustrophobic. I almost wanted... More
