I hadn't been here for 25 years, and not too much has changed. That's OK. Top notch sketch comedy...we saw the "Best Of" revue. $14./person...105 minutes of fun. Booze prices are fair...the staff are discreet during the performance. Small chairs and can get very crowded so get there early for a good seat.

My husband and I attended a show on New Year's Eve with another couple and sat right in front! The employees were smiling, helpful, and friendly. The service was terrific, although the food in the theater itself was minimal. The seats are not the most comfortable and it was very crowded, but the show was great! Coming from the US,... More

My husband and I took a friend here who was visiting from Oz. We called to book on a Friday for that night and they said just to come down 20 minutes before the show. We got tickets fine which were $20 each to my recollection. The place was almost full but our seats were back centre and we could... More

My wife and I decided to see "Slings and Errors" on Valentines day. An improvement at it's best. A matinee is a great time to go. All were funny but Criss Gibbs and Katherine Ten Kate were especially outrageous. I have to mention "The Asians" were a hoot. A wonderful component of a weekend in Toronto.

One of my dealers in Ontario held their annual sales meeting in the club with a private show in the evening. Had to say the facilities were good and I made a mental note for future reference. The show - very good comedy, some classic, some new. The bar service was discrete but kept on top of our demand. Very... More

These days, swearing and bathroom humour passes for funny. And Second City has a lot of it. But it just isn't that funny or interesting. I think I might have found it a lot funnier if I were still a teenager. Sadly, I'm not anymore, and so I guess I didn't appreciate the yucks. Second City used to be much... More

Visiting Toronto in January we bought tickets to Second City for a night of unwinding and laughter. The show was fabulous and it was well worth it. We booked early so that we could go to the Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant first. The food was mediocre and expensive. I wouldn't do that again. There is food available in the show so... More

OK. SO we had not been to see Second City for probably 20+ years. In fact, it was in a different location then, and we used to go a lot. I was looking for something amazing and different to do today, on our fourth anniversary, where my plan was to do a series of great Toronto events all day. We... More

We booked an early show and dinner at Wayne Gretzky's Restaurant. Good food, walk down a hallway and you are at the theatre - the two are connected so you do not need to go outside. The show was very entertaining. Good value.
