What a great show! We were lucky enough to be seated with two other friendly people who were good company. The two acts of sketch comedy by 6 cast members were excellent. Our favorite bit was on racial stereotypes by white people. All of it was funny, but that bit was especially funny! Four additional performers joined the cast for... More

I have not laughed this hard in a long time. I spent the extra money to sit on the rail seats but I would not do it again. There is not a bad seat in the house and you dont need to spend the extra dough. Highly recommended.

The show at Second City Toronto provides lots of laughs at a very affordable ticket price. In addition, the posters lining the walls throughout the non-theater areas of the venue are gems that provide a wonderful trip down memory lane.

We did not eat at the sponsored restaurant but did spring for the Rail seating. I would not recommend this option as we did not feel they were any better than any other seat in the house. We did arrive just as they opened and had our choice of any rail table. Perhaps on a very busy night??? We are... More

The show was hilarious! I've seen both shows in Toronto and Chicago, and found that the Toronto show was a lot funnier! I enjoyed all of the sketches they put on and laughed a lot. They have intermission in between and did some improv towards the end. Although I found that the improv wasn't as funny as the rest of... More

I saw "the best of second city" routine. I was laughing throughout the show. The best $18 I've spent in a long time. The service is great, the atmosphere fantastic, and the show was outstanding. What more can you ask for?

Great night out. Great comedy set. Good laughs. I enjoyed the show which consisted of a series of short sketches dealing with situations in everyday life. Hilarious. Great cast. Great table service. Very friendly staff.

We try to get out to Second City every time we visit the Entertainment District in Toronto. The performances are absolutely hilarious. The tables are a little small, but overall it's a great night of entertainment. I would recommend combining it with dinner over at Gretzky Restaurant which is in the same building. Make reservations and get your tickets in... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
