Six of us went for an hour and a half cruise on August 31st 2015. The crew very friendly. The cruise at night was spectacular to see the toronto wanterfront all lit up. The beer and wine prices were not excessive. Highly recommended to all

Took family from England on the Tall Ship Kajama was a really nice hour and a half very well worth it. We got a discount on groupon but it is worth paying full fare.

A really great activity for all ages. My 12-year-old and 6-year-old enjoyed it and were never bored. They were given the opportunity to help raise the sails and, while it did not happen on our trip, I've heard they sometimes let children up to the bridge to help the captain steer. An excellent activity for a family outing, a date,... More

Very fun Toronto activity. The wine and photo package is a really good idea. I suggest going near sunset.

We had a lovely cruise on the Kajama for a surprise finish to my husbands birthday. The young crew was energetic and fun, singing a sea shanty as they hoisted sail. The cruise went out into the main water and didn't tour around the islands, so note that if that's what you were looking for. The cruise was very kid-friendly,... More

We wanted to do something special with guests from Germany. When we found out that it was an original German Tall ship, there was no doubt that it would be the perfect outing with them. The boat was bigger than expected and even though there was quite the line-up, getting on board was no problem at all. Kudos to the... More

Nice little tour of the city of Toronto by an old tall ship. The day was very sunny and this made for a great time. The harbour front was lovely. Parking was limited. The price of the tour is a little higher than I would have wanted to pay (not good value). Make sure that you bring some beverages and... More

Hi 2003Trish_M2015, Thank you very much for your TripAdvisor review. We're happy you had an enjoyable time on board Kajama. Passengers may bring snacks and drinks on board but no alcoholic beverages! Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
