I took 15 of our friends on the boat as a surprise party for my fiances birthday. The tour was great, the weather was perfect, the drinks were cold (which is great, for beer!) but the food was just inedible. Our group ordered a bunch of various snacks (fries, quesadillas, chicken fingers etc.) and they were all cold, soggy or... More

Not worth it! There is absolutely no commentary at all about the city's landscape as we passed by. The singing was atrocious and was obviously an effort for some. When it rained everyone is squished together under a flappy tarp. Would not go again.

It was ok but not what we had hoped. Out of the west channel a short distance, turn back around. Diesel engine ran the whole time which smells during the lengthy boarding process. Staff were pleasant but kind of young. Couldn't hear announcements including safety talk at start. Nice to take some nighttime photos from the water. Glad we went... More

We were a small group of 4 and had an incredibly good time on board Kajama. The staff were pleasant and helpful and the entire experience was most enjoyable. We can't wait to do this again.

This is a great less expensive option for an afternoon or evening date. The crew are amazing and welcoming. They great you with a smile and have you involved with jobs while aboard. Great job folks.

The Toronto harbour is beautiful and full of diversity. The ship "sails" east along the waterfront. There's a lot more to explore around the harbour and islands - this trip does not go there. There is little to do during the 90 min trip. There is food and drink available for purchase.

My girlfriend and I took the Kajama for a sunset ride. We were both very impressed by the friendliness of the staff and how engaging they were with the passengers. Well worth the money and time.

The weather was lovely, we watched the ship being thoroughly cleaned before boarding, the crew were charming, we did not eat on board, but the food we saw served looked appetizing. We would do the trip again!

We had a good time on the ship. The drinks were a little pricy, but we lucked out with great weather. We were there for our 5th anniversary, so the beautiful sunset was great. However, it's not much of a romantic cruise, more of a family and friends cruise. It was busy and loud. But still a great experience! I... More

Staying in Downtown West

Neighborhood Profile
Downtown West
Downtown West is home to Toronto's gorgeous Inner Harbor, and is a must-visit for lovers of art and the outdoors. The area's rich cultural heritage is celebrated by a number of monuments and museums, giving the neighborhood a mature feel. As a premier destination for modern art, people here stroll through the cool contemporary pieces at the Power Plant, enjoy the outdoor installations along Queen's Quay and Canoe Landing, and picnic among the zany designs of the Toronto Music Garden. The waterfront itself is often suffused with bikers and joggers, and the harbor is always packed with classic ships with masts raised. The vintage boats and ferries to the Toronto Islands make for a charming contrast against Downtown West's backdrop of skyscrapers, condos, and food trucks serving up hot, fresh fare to locals on the go. The area has a peaceful energy, and is popular with tourists and Torontonians alike.
