I frequent Kensington a lot (weekly) but even then, I found the tour very interesting, educating, and tasty! We were taken into stores that I normally overlook when I go to the market so it was nice finding all these hidden gems I didn't even acknowledge before. There was a very good variety of sweets along with a great difference... More

I went on their Valentine's special tour on Feb15th. Each of six chosen stores had a distinguishing cultural feature. Our tour guide shared Interesting historical stories about the sweets industry to us. It would be an even pleasant experience to spend two hours on a warmer day there.

The tour was great! We were taken to stores that we didn't even know were in Kensington market. The treats were great - not your typical treats which was good. Our tour guide Ally was awesome - she was full of information and very personable!

Did this tour with two friends, none of us strangers to Kensington. Was surprised to visit so many places I had overlooked previously, and thrilled to enjoy so many delicious treats along the way. Our tour guide was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic. A terrific time all around.

A great way to spend a few hours in the Toronto area! Our tour guide Audrey was extremely knowledgeable about her sweets and the town in which we walked. She gave us a terrific walking tour of Chinatown, Kensington Market and places in between which included an Asian bakery, Middle Eastern eatery, total vegan bake shop and a Mexican stop.... More

My teenage daughter and I took the Tasty Tours Trinity Bellwood tour this weekend. It was so much fun. We went to 5 sweet places and got to taste some fabulous chocolate. It was also very educational, not only about chocolate, but there was a bit of history and neighbourhood information thrown in. Our guide Audrey was very nice, friendly,... More

I went on the Kensington Sweets Tour on Oct. 10 with my sister and cousin (from out of town). We thoroughly enjoyed the personality and knowledge shared by our tour guide, Ally. I have been to Kensington Market many times, and I still had a great time! In particular I enjoyed learning tidbits of sweets knowledge (eg. how marshmallow originated... More

I had not been to Kensington in years and this was a great reintroduction. The tour guide Audrey was awesome. She was knowledgeable, funny, patient and sweet like the treats. The treats varied from so many different cultures and each came with a bit of history. Interesting and filling. I would do it again and highly recommend.

My husband and I went on the tasty tour of the distillery district on September 28th with Audrey. We thoroughly enjoyed the tour and we were extremely impressed with the knowledge that Audrey has. The vendors that she took us to were very polite, and the product sampling was good as well. We look forward to going on another tour... More

Thoroughly enjoyed! Perfect idea for my mother's birthday present! Learned a lot, not only about sweets and the history of the site, but it was interesting to hear each of the vendors' unique stories. Very well paced, organized and had a lot of fun :) Would definitely recommend!!!
